One per Genre...

I know that Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie (Highland Pleasures, #1) by Jennifer Ashley and Ride the Fire (Blakewell/Kenleigh Family Trilogy, #3) by Pamela Clare are in my top 10, but it's just so hard to narrow them down to merely 3.

Tonya Gentry | 3 comments I can name a few faves but not just one. CARNAL GIFT & THE I-TEAM SERIES by Pamela Clare, DEATH ANGEL by Linda Howard, JUST-A-HINT CLINT by Lori Foster, TEARS OF THE RENEGADE by Linda Howard, DEVIL IN WINTER by Lisa Kleypas, THE SEDUCER by Madeline Hunter, Lora Leigh's SEALs & ELITE OPS SERIES & I've recently started reading the HELL'S EIGHT SERIES by Sarah McCarty & I'm pretty sure they will be favorites, too! Love those alpha-cowboys!

It is harder than I thought to pick a favorite. Books are still popping in my head but the ones I listed are the main ones, I think!

Giulia | 121 comments Definitely hard...

The Bride (Lairds' Fiancées, #1) by Julie Garwood for historical romance. Followed by Devil in Winter (Wallflowers, #3) by Lisa Kleypas

Lover Awakened (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #3) by J.R. Ward for paranormal romance

Rode Hard, Put Up Wet (Rough Riders, #2) by Lorelei James for erotic romance

Contemporary....not sure. Probably the Friday Harbor series by Lisa Kleypas

Too hard. I'm bound to change my mind later today. Too many favourites.

Oh, girlie! I LOVED The Bride (Lairds' Fiancées, #1) by Julie Garwood . So freakin' good! That was my first Garwood read and I then bought and read every single historical romance she wrote, back to back.

Another all time favorite is Lisa Kleypas's, Again the Magic (Wallflowers, #0.5) by Lisa Kleypas

And Pamela Clare's Ride the Fire (Blakewell/Kenleigh Family Trilogy, #3) by Pamela Clare

And The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie (Highland Pleasures, #1) by Jennifer Ashley

And Laura Kinsale's Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale

But my true, ALL TIME FAVORITE is, drum roll please - The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1) by J.R.R. Tolkien The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings, #2) by J.R.R. Tolkien The Return of the King (The Lord of the Rings, #3) by J.R.R. Tolkien

And yes, I know, that's three. But it's one story so epic it couldn't be contained in a single volume.

message 17: by Giulia (new)

Giulia | 121 comments Actually, The Lord of the Rings is really one novel divided into three parts, or books (Fellowship, Two Towers and Return of the King) and because of the bulk, publishers often separate them. But it's ONE novel.

I watched a lot of the extras on the DVDs.

message 18: by Giulia (new)

Giulia | 121 comments Oh, and those historicals are all on my TBR list. Execpt for Flowers from the Storm. Never heard of it until now.

It was a very emotional read for me. Very personal.

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) I don't know why but Laura Kinsale's style of writing doesn't work for me. I've tried 2 of her books and didn't care for either one. But I like and love the rest mentioned!
