I'm a big Charles Monroe fan. Don't you just love it that he calls Eve Lt. Sugar? As soon as I figured he was going to be a recurring character, I saw Eddie Cibrian in this role.
I actually didn't like him at first. I was like ewe this guy again? And so much drama with Peabody!! But he grew in me and now I love him

He was a little oily in the beginning.

I love Charles because he has a genuine affection for Eve and also the fact that I think him calling Eve Lt. Sugar is so endearing.

Funny how she let's him get away with that. She has always seemed to have a soft spot for him.

I remember when Roarke said something to Eve about the comment in his masculine jealous way. Before the dinner party with Roarke, Eve, Peabody and McNab, they must have run into each other. Can anyone remember when?

LOL..you really can feel the irritation just roll off of Roarke when Charles calls Eve Lt. Sugar! It quickly brings out the Alpha Male side of Roarke and you just feel that he wants to yell MINE! Love it.
The first time Charles Monroe called Eve LT. SUGAR was in NAKED IN DEATH when she consulted him about licensed companions.
I believe Roarke first heard Charlrs call Eve Lt. Sugar was in NAKED IN DEATH when Roarke and Eve were in his limo and they being driven to his jet to fly back to NYC after the funeral of the Senator's granddaughter. Forgot the names of those characters. Eve got a call from Charles about safety deposit boxes and when he signed off he called her LT. SUGAR and Roarke heard him and bristled.

Charles deserved having a relationship. I remember he was attracted to Eve but as Mira said Eve has a shady of prude. She couldn't see how it could work but he really wanted to love and be loved without limitations. I loved that he found that.
