I started a listopia list on best mythic fiction. I thought it would be fun if we all could add books and vote for our favorites on it.

I went and voted for my favorites - and now I'm really curious to the ones on your list that I haven't read yet.

I was wondering if we could add some of Charles de Lint books to the site. Has anyone read The Onion Girl?

I don't see why not! I think you can add books yourself if you think of any. The Onion Girl is one I haven't read yet, but I'm a big fan of his and have read quite a few others.

I tried to add The Onion Girl, but it would not let me. :-(

Hmm... I just added it by going to the list, searching for the book in the box on the right, and then voting on it. See if it's on the list now?

Didn't see Onion Girl, Kay. Is it on the Endicott blog list?

I see it's on the listopia list, if that's what you mean.

I think listopia has been having some bugs lately, I tries to create a new list this morning but had trouble adding books to it.

Hi Rora, no, I was wondering if it was on the old Endicott Journal of Mythic Arts blog that we are picking books from for this group. I have no objection to adding books from the outside, but I think that was the original premise of the group.

Oh I see. Maybe there was some confusion about the listopia list and the bookshelf here.

Oh, I'm sorry... I thought she was referring to the "mythic fiction" listopia and I didn't think that was reserved for Endicott books.

As for the bookshelf here, I agree to keeping it to the books reviewed at Endicott. We certainly have a lot to choose from.

Ok, whew, we're all on the same page. So, let's keep it to Endicott. I'll go see the de Lint's you put up, Baobhan. If Onion Girl isn't here, maybe you can add it to the Listopia list when you get the glitches out Rora? It's nice to have that list as an addition. I do agree that there's a lot to choose from Endicott too! If I manage to read a quarter of what I've listed in my to-reads already I'll be doing well. So much to read, so little time!

The Endicott authors keep on writing...I would love to know what readers think about Kim A's new book...I am open to hearing from readers about books they are reading that fit the Endicott genre...

Hi Lisarose and all, are you referring to Kim Antieau's Church of the Old Mermaids? I read it last year on her web site and was pleased to see it's being published as a book. It's a contemporary story inspired by myth and love of the land. No fairies popping in and out. Instead there are amazing people who become empowered through magical thinking. As far as I'm concerned, that's what life is all about! Way to go, Kim!

Hi Ramona! The new book is called "Ruby's Imagine". Charles De Lint Praised it on his email news letter- It sounds amazing. I'll let you know. I feel like I should go to 12 step meeting: Hi I'm Lisa and I am a readaholic.

Right Right! I read it on line last year- now it is a real book. How cool- I still love a book I can hold in my hands.

I love your list! I have a lot of these books in my collection. I have either read them, am still reading them, or want to read them. I haven't read the onion girl by charles de lint. However, I would love to do so. Take care my friends. Salam.
