i really really liked the first half, but i think the second half kinda ruined the book. he was soooo much cooler when he was a thief and not a noble!!!!!!!!!

and it didnt really make so much sense. i mean, it was from his point of view! shouldnt he have thought about it at least once through the whole book?!?!!
it was like he was two different charries!

its really cool.
its supposed to be in the future, when earth is over- populated, so a group of people go to another planet and start a new life there. but there were already creatures in the 'new world', and they released some sort of sickness on the settlers that: 1. killed all the woman and girls. 2. made everyone able to hear everyone else's thoughts.
anyway, its about a twelve year old boy with an annoying dog that was born around the time that germ was released, so he basically grew up in a world with no woman [he knows what they are from all the mens memories and thoughts though...] and where whatever he thinks is open to everyone and everyone else's thoughts are always around him in a never ending stream of Noise...
anyway, its really good, and its also written in a very realistic way, and the characters are very believable and human, you know what i mean?
