Hi My name is Shelleyrae, I am far closer to 40 than I am happy about (so you guys are making me feel ancient) and live in Taree NSW.
I read just about everything, and read a lot.
My blog is at http://www.bookdout.wordpress.com
I have a hard time letting go of books but I enjoy poking around your lists. I look forward to *visiting* you all!
Shelleyrae I am the same... Its why my swap list is so small (but I am willing to buy them off people hehe)
I glad I'm not only who's a little clingy onto my books, they're a part of me!!!! Hello everybody :)

oooooooo i'm your first stalker...i mean, follower! LOL. Nice blog! It's a bit daunting isn't it, when you just start up? I'm the same, and I keep wondering if I'm just writing into the ether or if anyone is actually reading my stuff. LOL
I guess I’ll re-introduce myself:Hi I’m Braiden. I turn 18 in 2 hours and 21 minutes. I live in Melbourne and study Arts-Psychology and Psychophysiology in pursuit of becoming a Psychologist. I also want to write most likely for YA.
http://www.yaconcoction.blogspot.com
Hey Ange!!! Welcome! and AWEOSME BLOG! I am also a new stalker hehe! Braiden... not that you are counting or anything right?
YOU'RE ALMOST 18... :O... I'm excited for you. :)
It's not really that different though... I mean, I turned 18 almost a month ago and I feel the same. :/
sheesh, i'm not even going to MENTION my age. *leans on zimmer frame and shuffles away muttering about kids these days*
DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE BRAIDEN! You'll lose your license, don't go clubbing every night because you're going to find that there is nothing else to do when you're 24 and bored of clubbing.
BTW Happy Birthday Braiden! Only one more Aussie blogger baby left (?). :)Has anyone read while tipsy? I've GOT to know what it feels like to be tipsy. Is it just like a mad sugar rush, or is it even worse? :\ But I like being conscious, most of the time.
Oh yeah, and Braiden, word of advice: Don't drink and work. You might end up onstage, singing your own rendition of blah blah. Then you will get fired.
So you've already done it Braiden?Well I'm sure tipsy would be something for someone who has never touched alcohol before.
I didn't think I should post much in this group because I don't really have a list of books to trade right now, but you're all so awesomely aussie that I feel inclined to introduce myself! I know a few of you anyway, from your blogs and twitter :)There's not a whole lot to say about me - My name is Brodie, I'm a 20 year old girl who, like you all, has a teensy obsession with reading :) I love YA books, it's pretty much all I read and right now I'm having a love affair with the blogging community, everyone is so amazing <3
My blog is: http://eleusinianmysteriesofreading.b...
Did you Lisa? O_OHey Brodie! :) Love the blog. Yeah blogging is awesome isn't it? Hope you get some books to trade soon Brodie! You could always participate in RAK. I'm already giving away a book I didn't even think to give away.
HI Brodie *waves* I know you! We used to talk on twitter ALL THE TIME remember? where have you been lately anyway?@Cass, boys have been bringing alcohol since Gr 8 although it's better if you put they'll get kicked if they bring them on invites that way they tend to not bring them, I don't drink though, I like my brain cells
If you drink in moderation your brain cells will be okay. Think about it, ancient cultures like the Romans LOVED their wine, and they turned out, for the most part, okay. (:I went a a private Anglican girls school, so for the most part we were pretty well behaved. I know a lot of people that get smashed now all the time, but it never really happened while we were in school. Besides, I didn't want to drink until I was 18, so I didn't. It's all about choices.
Is it too late to introduce myself? Lol. My name is Iris. Im 28 and im addicted to books!! I mainly read YA, paranormal/paranormal romance and fantasy.
Im hopeless with computers and constantly forget to comment back or check good reads lol.
Ummm i dont know what rlse to say...oh yeah...Kylie is one of my best friends :)
Yeah, I also went to an all-girls. I thought you did too Lisa, so I didn't bring it up. But yeah. And the only ones in my year who did have alcohol were really eh, loose. I've really never needed alcohol to have a good time, so I don't believe I've really missed out on anything special.Ooh, you must be one of the people Kylie was talking about. ;) Welcome to the group!
Nawww Iris! Never too late lady *HUGS* miss your face!!!Cass... SEEE My friends are REAL! lol *pokes iris in the face*
I don’t drink a lot too...must be because I’m a slow drinker. I’m usually the one that helps out the wasted by the end of the night and helps clean up.I wonder how I’ll be at my own party tonight.
nah, I don't go to an all-girl school, there is like one of the coast and the girls are extremely bitchy, my best friend went there and she was like bullied so that's why she came to my school =)
That is a complete stereotype of girls schools! Mine was small, with about 80 girls in my year and we weren't bitchy. We were on the most part really friendly with one another. :)Oh it's my party tonight too Braiden!! It's a month late, but still... Yay!!
We don't have many on the coast ( just that one) and I quite like co-ed schools, they're alot of fun :P Besides, we have a Writer's festival every yeat so I get to meet fabulous authors :P
I don't have anything against co-ed; sometimes I even wish I went to one (well, I went to a public primary school so I sort of have, but it's a bit different...) yet girls schools have their advantages. I think as a year we were really close. I mean, I knew everyone in my year and I spoke to pretty much everyone on a daily basis. It wasn't difficult to just go down and sit with any group. Sure, we had our fair share of petty (and sometimes vicious) fights... But it was still a wonderful environment. And it's not like we were 'boy deprived' as people seem to think.

I'll start; I'm Sas, I live in Sydney and I read mainly YA! I'm 18 (for now XD )and I co-blog over at Tea Mouse Book Reviews - http://teamousebooks.com
So... get cracking and make some friends! :)
