Camille (camlovesraptors) | 16 comments Hello Everyone!

I am guessing there are many of us who blog our book reviews. I feature a lot of Christian romance books on my blog, A Book A Day. Hopefully we can all follow each other. You can find me at:

I think its a great idea to read each others blogs!

message 5: by Kristy (new)

Kristy (riverunbroken) | 71 comments Abbie, your blog is really nice. How do you do multiple pages on blogger.com? I tried it, but the new post goes to the first page.

Multiple pages? What are you referring to? I only have one page with three columns and a about me page and a rating page.

I think it works differently than I expect. New pages is whatever you write on the new page, but the new post goes to the first original page. It makes it confusing. I did a page for currently reading, and posted my widget, but it was all wrong.

You need columns. Then grab the html widget and put the code in it.

message 9: by Kristy (new)

Kristy (riverunbroken) | 71 comments it had the wrong books.

I mean which shelf?

message 12: by Kristy (new)

Kristy (riverunbroken) | 71 comments It's correct now. But before Currently reading was showing books I was not reading. It was either that one or another shelf. I forget now. It was showing a Harry Potter book which I was not reading and others I was not reading. Weird, I think.

Kristy your blog is coming a lone nicely. :) I have a few suggestions and take them as just that. Maybe add a picture of the book cover as well as some more information about the book. Like author year published etc. I have not been at this that long either but I have found the more information the better and the more people will read your reviews! :D

message 15: by Kristy (new)

Kristy (riverunbroken) | 71 comments I don't know how to add a picture.

Abbie, how do I add a picture to my reviews without having a picture of the book. Do I use the goodreads picture?

I'm sorry Kristy I just realized I did not respond to your message from last week please forgive me!

What I do is download the bookcover picture from here if its a good size and then I add it with the picture add button in blogger. Its really easy. When your writing a blog post look at the different buttons you can click one of them is to add pictures.

message 18: by Kristy (new)

Kristy (riverunbroken) | 71 comments Thank you. I did not know it was okay to copy the picture from goodreads.

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) Looking good, Kristy! And I like that you've added your Currently Reading and Read in 2011 pages, I always like to look at that sort of thing on blogs :)

Its looking better! Maybe making the cover picture a little bigger. I know for me I love seeing the cover and it can be a draw for people as well. Also I link the cover picture to the amazon listing so its a quick click for people to go and look at it there and maybe buy it. Your doing a great job! I like the 2011 read page I need to do that as well. I think of my reading blog as a sales page a little I want people to go and buy these books!!

message 22: by Kristy (new)

Kristy (riverunbroken) | 71 comments How do I link it back to amazon?

Kristy (riverunbroken) | 71 comments I made the picture larger, but now you can't read what the title of the book is, and I linked it to amazon too. How do I make the picture larger and still readable??

Just a note. Please feel free to post your blog once but don't post every new review you write. :) A good idea is to post your review with the book and a link back to your blog that way your reviews will get a little more notice(and friend some of the groups members if you like so they can see your books and reviews on their news feeds) and also keep this thread just for main blog links! Thanks! :D

I've been lurking on here for a while, but I wanted to share a new project I have going on with everyone, and I hope this is the right place to post it.
http://ameliasdrawingroom.blogspot.co....

I put up the first installment of a story on my blog. I've opened up the comments for readers to suggest what happens next. There will be an installment every Friday. It works kind of like those old Choose Your Own Adventure stories.

Come join the fun!
