Lee, It's on my infamous to-read shelf, but I haven't seen it yet. I can't wait to hear what you and other members think. What are some of the recipes that have struck your fancy?
Do the ingredients/preparation look, easy or hard or a mix?
Tonight I made a batch of the Chocolate Chunk Blondies and I am in love! It tastes like snack cake, really light, moist and delicious. I thought these would be more dense like brownies but I like cake so it works for me. The whole family is wolfing them down as I type this, I better get in there!

Lee, did you make any more recipes of this book? If so, what were other favorites?
The Chocolate Chunk Blondies sound yummy! *drool*
I haven't used it much yet but I do like the book. I've read through quite a few of the recipes and many sound appealing to me. I am a fan of Robin's books in General.
Steph, ALL those sound delicious, including the adding of the dried shiitake mushrooms to the gravy.
Don, There seem to be many, many more vegan and vegetarian women, then men. I wonder if it has to do with the macho attitude of meat = strength/manliness, and seems to affect some men who consciously would never subscribe to such a silly idea. And, maybe women (broad statistics here) tend to be more health minded and more caring about animals too. Sometimes, with all non-veg*ns, it's best not to stress the vegan nature of the food. Mostly, when people taste it they like it. In my limited experience.
Don, That's great that your vegan food went over well, at least. I find it amusing because the MUST have meat people eat so many things that are naturally vegan, without even thinking about it. Fruit, potato chips, tortilla chips with guacamole & salsa, etc. etc. Many like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which I've never liked, but I point out all the vegan foods people eat, omnivorous, vegetarian, or vegan.
