message 12: by Diane (new)

Diane (dianedj) Sarah, I'm behind! I am going to skip the vote since it won't be fair for me to vote if I won't be able to read the book.

Sarah (sarah23l) And the winner for May is...Doomsday Book!

message 14: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Collard | 7 comments Here we are on May 21st and nobody wants to say anything about May's book. Something similar seems to have happened in April. Has this sub-group become nothing more than a book recommendation post? I accept of course that there is nothing at all wrong with book recommendation, it can be very helpful, but I think we all hope for more from a discussion group????

Sarah (sarah23l) I agree Bernard, and of course, I myself have been guilty of not reading the monthly selections as I am way behind in my reading schedule. I was thinking of canning the monthly group reads if the same thing happened with the upcoming June read. Maybe having a group read is not the right format for this group because the members of this group have such a variety of reading preferences.
