I could go on for HOURS....
I could go on for hours too; I'm sure my list is at least 50 books long! And I've actually never read any of the books that come before Many Waters (that includes a wrinkle in time) but I loved it!
IDR but I hated it! Well about this girl and she goes to different galaxies and stuff and I just didn't understand it!
ooo I love The Book Thief!!! Amazingly written, beautiful story... just plain remarkable. is definitely a great mark in the history of books.
It was a stellar performance by Markus Zusak. I would read anything by him after reading The Book Thief.
I read it as a library book, but I liked it so much I bought a copy of it. I don't do that very often.
i want to buy a copy so badly! sadly, my job doesn't start for a couple of weeks, so I've had no money. zero... zilch. *sigh* if only i could spend my money on books and books only.
Hey, if you like Markus Zuzak, you should read(oh dear, what's it called? i can't remember...oh wait, yes I do!) The Messenger. Or I Am the Messenger. They are the same book, one is just the title that they gave it in austrailia, the other one is the title for the US copy.

Oh, I love To Kill a Mockingbird and The Giver. But I didn't like The Outsiders. I'm not really sure why. I just didn't.Maybe it's because we read it for school, and parts of it were read to me, by a crazy lady who substituted dang and heck for the real words.
It's okay, as long as you don't abbriviate JC Pennys to just Pennys. GRRRRR THAT DRIVES ME CRAZY! AND EVERYBODY SAYS IT BECAUSE JC PENNYS RECENTLY OPENED UP IN MY AREA!!!
The Book Theif is an awesome book! I like how it is written but it was confusing in the beginning for a little bit!
really, I didn't find it confusing at all.But my graphing calculator is a totally different story...
Ahh!!! I haven't read that book, yet! I really want, too, but I can't get my hands on a copy! Ahh!!!
Hmm, they have a copy at out local library.Woops, I almost said the name of our library, which would give away where we live! Oh no!
hopefully. I wish I owned a copy that I could lend you.Hey, do you remember the constipated "LOOK AT ME!" from the beginning of our lunch conversations?
I didn't find The Book Theif confusing, yet I can see how it could possibly be. I guess you got your question answered, Kayli, but just for the heck of it (and I love talking about books) it's about a little girl in Nazi Germany and what she goes through. It's World War II through a whole different perspective... literally. Meaning it is told by Death.
Can someone please give me advice? It's best I don't mention the problem and I know it's a problem we might hate so much we don't want to talk about. I'm sure everyone knows about this big problem cause it's very common here on goodreads. It's something that makes me feel uneasy and I'm kind of mad at some of my friends for believing in the horrible problem that they think is true when it's not. If I bring the problem up I promise I won't have to mention it again in this group and this problem has nothing to do with writing at all well it kind of does. I need to talk to someone I trust though.
That's why I need to talk to someone I trust! It's about a certain celebrity and I'm afraid to mention the celebrity because a lot of people hate this person.
No I'm not talking about mars candy kills, that I know people are starting to not believe in anymore but that's not the problem I had in mind. I hate to mention the person because everyone HATES HER AND WISHES SHE WOULD DIE AND STUFF!
yeah and I wish goodreads the people who are in charge of this site shouldn't let 12-17 year olds say ugly stuff about ppl or celebs
I think a lot of people are very rude here. This sites supposed to be about books, not about your favorite or least favorite celebrities! What happened to good old fashioned reading? Goodreads is like the new MySpace!
Myspace I hate Myspace. Maybe goodreads shouldn't let kids 12-17 talk ugly about celebs. Am I mean?
