I nominate
by Kevin HearneI read an ARC of this and I loved it. It comes out late April or early May depending on which website you believe.
My nominees are as follows:
A Brush of Darkness (Abby Sinclair, Book 1) by Allison Pang
This is the second time that I've nominated this title. It almost won in March and perhaps will do better as a May 2011 read. It is an urban fantasy about a heroine who has an enchanted iPod, a miniature unicorn living in her underwear drawer, and a magical marketplace to manage. What a charmer!!!
Also a repeat nominee is
Vicious Circle (Persephone Alcmedi, Book 1) by Linda Robertson. Great first novel by a new novelist. Strong heroine, memorable characters, and an ending that will have you dashing out for the second book in the series.
From the Publisher:
"Being a witch doesn't pay the bills, but Persephone Alcmedi gets by between reading Tarot cards, writing her syndicated newspaper column, and kenneling werewolves in the basement when the moon is full — even if witches aren't supposed to mingle with wolves . . ."

Morning! I would like to suggest Nora Robert's new book Chasing Fire
.Also Flat-Out Sexy
by Erin McCarthy
Good morning :-)My second book has just been released in eformat, and will be out as a paperback in early May. I'd like to nominate it for May or June, if possible.
I'd also be happy to chat with your group after reading Chasing Amanda, or with individuals if it's not accepted by the group.
Many thanks!
Melissa
I would be interested in discussing Room by Emma Donaghue, not spelled like that I think.Or Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott, which I've read and found quite compelling. They are on somehwat similar topics with very different protagonists.
I nominate Murder Under Cover: A Bibliophile Mystery by Kate Carlisle. It's a delightful, lighthearted mystery.
