Ladies & gentlemen, welcome back to the first Quadwizard Tournament! In the Second Task, you will need to solve the puzzles of the Sphinx. There will be many riddles to solve. The first champion to correctly answer all of these riddles will get the final puzzle, and if he/she answers it correctly, they win.

Mom and Dad have 4 daughters. Each daughter has one brother. Each brother has one dog and each daughter has one cat. One of the cats had 7 kittens, and two of the dogs had 4 puppies each. How many toes and fingers total are in the family, assuming cats and dogs have 4 toes on each paw?

Mandy was prepared. She had thought and thought about this and was determined to win this time. She already knew the answer to the second one. "For number 2: SILENCE!" She yelled.

Professor Caitlin sat silently and gazed at the competitor. She hoped her house will win this time.

" Mandy was right", prof Caitlin announced. " There are only two questions left."

Mandy bit her lip. This was ridiculous hard. Plus she hated math. Grrrrr.... "How are you doing?" She looked at Danny.

Proffesor Lupisruf sat next to Catlin and said,"Isn't this exiting?!?"

Taylor stood in the crowd, looking for any other deatheaters.

Prof. Lupisruf gave Louie a warning look,"Do not use such language at hogwarts!"

Lupisruf nodded then watched the rest of the task.

Hanna giggled and Gabriel laughed, though he wasn't smart either.

The last one is a trick question.

Mandy just shook her head and went back to concentrating. She'd already gotten one....

((Yes, but she meant she had already solved one of the three problems.))

Mandy snapped her fingers loudly and began drawing in the dirt to solve problem one. 11 x 13112221 = 1113213211. "HA!" She yelled.

"SILENCE" Talia ran up to the Sphinx. She was kind of late after all....

Hanna watched out for Death eaters.
Prof. Lupisruf signed and tapped her foot impaciently.
Taylor was with the rest of the death eaters, plaining on what to do.
