I think goodreads needs something like AIM because its better than emailing back and forth

I don't like swearing, roleplaying (too fast and confusing), that we have to email each other. There must be some better way we can come up with. This way is so slow. I don't like people who think they are better than me. I don't like people asking me to put a pic of myself as my avitar. I don't want people to know what I look like on the internet. If I did, I would have done it. I don't like people who give mean critiques of what I write. I am shaky enough with my writing without having someone tell me that I have blatantly bad themes, lack of metaphors, banal themes, lousy wording, etc. I had one guy tell me all of those and a lot more after I put my poems in the group he was in. I felt totally humiliated in front of the group. That's enough for now.

I've learned people could be lying about their age here on this site so we might want to be aware of that. I thought people who are 13 and over are allowed to have a goodreads account but the people haven't done anything about the 12 year olds so I wouldn't worry about it. I'm glad I have a GR account because I've met lot's of people and I have 70 friends. If you want to be friends with me and you send me a friend request then you have to guess my favorite animal which is a monkey.

yes it's horrible and I hate that. Cause there was this kid that sent me messages with these words like hey wanna talk or hey wanna chat and I didn't answer and I hoped that gave him the message that I didn't wanna talk or chat with him. It was feeling uncomfortable for me because you don't know what he could've meant. but still. He kept doing it even after I politely asked him to stop sending me those messages. Then I told him please stop sending me those hey wanna talk or hey wanna chat messages cause it's making me uncomfortable and it's freaking me out. Then he's like freaking you out, that's mean to say so he removed me from his Disney channel fan club group just because I said that. So I deleted him as my friend and blocked him. Then I asked his sister to get me back into the group and the guy let me back him and he was only 12 and I'm 14 gonna be in 8th grade.

yea do you think he meant hi or was he actually flirting? I sure hope he meant the first one but I wasn't sure so I blocked him and deleted him as a friend

yep and you don't have to go any further than that.

I call boys dumbwhats if they're being dumb to joke around or forgot to call me when they needed to or forgot my phone number or something.

well i am not a mean person so when someone is mean to me on this site, it really hurts and all i want to do is make friends, not fight or criticize anyone

Haters clubs shouldn't be meant for this site if you're going to talk about people

I wish you could make group topics private

I wish goodreads would do something about inappropriate conversations and swearing and be more alert on security

I wish you didn't have to come up with some title to go with your message when you email people on their goodreads account

I think that instead of posting on groups and suck, groups should be more like AIM groups so that you don't have to wait so long to see their comment.

I don't always like how people treat me when I state a personal opinion about something. They take it the wrong way when there could be something positive in the way I wrote it. I can't always control how I write things down on the internet. I just wish they could accept that. It's not my fault and they think I'm being mean a lot. to warn you,I admit that I'll make things sound negative or horrible when I mean it a different way and I could say things in a nicer way.

yea I was so pissed at thorn,he is a real jerk. everybody is on his side,they don't listen to me,and they all act as if I'm a joke. I'm talking about the fighting with thorn in the boys verses girls group. I hate thorn!

idk...i wish they were better @ keeping the system from crashing, did any1 have the experience where the box in which u type kept disappearing?

huh? Are you talking about when you post comments? If so,then sometimes yes I have problems with when you post comments in the box and it took slow to load up,or it took a long time for the words to come up. but yes,the box has dissappeared.
