Blackheart came back to camp with a mouthful of fresh kill.

Shadowtooth purred "i guess the prey is starting to come back out" he said remebering the harsh leaf-bare.

Blackheart dropped the prey, "I suppose so," she mewed.

He nodded respectfully.

Blackheart watched a group of kits play with a distant look in her eyes.

He padded over to her.

Blackheart looked up as he came over.

He sat down.

She blinked respectfully at him.

He cleared his throught "well, How are you?"

She smirked at him, "Been better, and yourself?"

"Being deputy isn't all as good as i thought it would be..." he mewed.

Scarpaw trotted into camp carrying two squirells, 1 bird, and 1 rabbit. He dropped them on the freshkill pile and padded over to Blackheart and shadowtooth nodding respectfully to shadowtooth and blackheart.

Blackheart gently touched noses with her apprentice, "Its alot of work," she said to Shadowtooth.

He nodded and looked at scarpaw.

A purr eescaped scarpaw's throught as they touched noses.

Blackheart smiled at Scarpaw.

Scarpaw smiled back his eyes gleamed with joy.

Shadowtooth looked away and his eyes were narrowed he blinked a few times and was able to just barely look at them withought hate and narrowed eyes.

Blackheart noticed Shadowtooth's change in exprssion and slightly cocked her head to the side

He looked at his paws "I um... I am going to eat" he padded away to the freshkill pile.

Scarpaw was not confused he knew exactly why his expressoin changed and flicked his ear in irratatoin.

Blackheart watched him go and then turned to Scarpaw, "Time to train," she said while walking out of camp.

Scarpaw nodded and followed her.

Blackheart took him to a small clearing and then turned to face him, "Attack me."

He leaped in the air and rolled into a ball barreling into her.

Blackheart easily escaped out from under him and pinned him on his back, "Try again."

He hissed and pounced at her with a harder force which made him go faster.

Blackheart's smaller body gave her an advantage as she quickly dodged out of the way.

He shook off and stood up and walked up to her and pawed her face.

Blackheart laughed and playfully pawed him back.

He tackled and pinned her down looking into her eyes.

Blackheart looked back into his eyes, "Good," she meowed quitly.

He smiled and purred and stepped off of her.

Blackheart got off the ground and shook the dirt out of her pelt.

He smiled.

"Let's head back to camp," she said.

He nodded and rubbed against her.

Blackheart nuzzled his cheek with hers and started walking back.

He purred with delight.

She quickly made her way to camp.

He followed her.

When they arrived at camp the sun was starting to go down.

He smiled.

Blackheart trotted over to the fresh kill pile and took a mouse, then brought it over to where the warriors ate.

He sat beside her.

"Aren't you going to get something?" she purred.

He shook his head.

She looked at him confused but said nohing as she ate her mouse.

He lashed his tail as shadowtooth came over and he sat closer to her and their pelts were touching.

Shadowtooth walked over and sneered at scarpaw "tryin to be a show off and not eat?" he hissed.

"No I'm just not hungry" he shrugged acting like he didnt care but his tail lashed.

Blackheart looked between the two.

Shadowtooth stepped closer to blackheart.

Scarpaw launched himself at Shadowtooth knocking him over "don't make me use my claws" he hissed.

Shadowtooth struggled underneath scarpaw and finnaly got let free and slaped scarpaw in the side.

Scarpaw cought his balance and hissed.

"go ahead, use your claws pathetic apprenticve" he smirked.

Scarpaw shrugged and pounced on him clawing into his shoulders and hissed "now am i pathetic?"

He yowled in pain and tore scarpaw off and he limped away.

Scarpaw layed his ears back "i didnt mean to" his eyes filled with tears.

"Scarpaw! Got to your den NOW!" Blackheart hissed as she went after Shadowtooth.
