Well I would say that is Chic Lit so I read this book a couple of days ago called Can You Keep a Secret?. Don't know if it's your type of book but I thought it was funny and kind of cute.
I agree with Valentine; you should be checking the chic lit genre more. I second Can you Keep a Secret? If you like that, you may try more books by Kinsella, I really enjoy her style. I think the Shopaholic series, which have a lot to do with fashion will especially appeal to you. There is also Meg Cabot (her books tend to be on the trendy side as well), Jill Mansell and Alexandra Potter. You could also try these:
The Devil Wears Prada, Little White Lies: A Novel of Love and Good Intentions, A Hopeless Romantic, Thanks For Nothing, Nick Maxwell: A Novel, Playing James
I hope these books are what you're looking for.

Ha! "Girly Books" actually is what I call Chick Lit!
Not my preferred genre, but it's great there are all the options out there to accommodate all tastes!

Yeah, that is what I call it too :D
Have you read Halfway to the Grave yet? It is a vampire series, but I think it is very Chick Lit.
chick lit....Sophie Kinsella, who's been mentioned a few times.
A couple of Irish authors I enjoy - Claudia Carroll or Niamh Greene
