Mia was flipping through the costumes, making sure all of them were in place when she caught a lose thread. Cursing under her breath, she took the costume off the rack. It was glittering with sequins layered on a rich, silky red material. It was a dress shirt. Mia smiled at the piece, it was sure to catch some attention. After taking a moment to admire it, she headed back to stitch the thread back in uniform spot.

Jace walked by the stage, humming quietly to himself as he looked around the theatre. He went backstage, hoping to find someone he knew.

Mia started to unthread the stitch, when she looked up at Jace. She gave him a brief nod before going back to her work.

Jace smiled and gave her a wave. He looked over at the costume she was fixing, before walking over to the other side of the stage.

Finished with her task, Mia placed it back in it's designated spot on the rack. Flipping through the rest of the costumes with no trouble, she glanced at her antique watch.

Alice walked onto the backstage in a rush. "Am I late?" she asked whoever was around, not really seeing if anyone was there as she made sure she hadn't left anything in her car.

Jace turned around with a smile. "No, your right on time. We haven't started yet." he said.

"Yeah, but you gotta get in your opening costume JAce." Mia scowled, pointing to the rack with the name tags.

Alice sighed in relief, getting her hair up in a ponytail, ready. "Alright guys, let's get this show started. Find me when you're ready," she said, heading to her station.

"Thanks Mia." Jace said with a nod, heading over to the rack and grabbing his costume, then heading to the changing rooms.

"My job." Mia shrugged off the thanks.

Natalie ran onto back stage with her back pack full of her stuff on her shoulder.She sighed in relif to find she wasent late

Alice put her working belt on, the one with the pockets hanging off it that held her scissor, her combs, bands and most importantly bobby pins. "Hey, glad to know I wasn't the last one in," she grinned when Natalie ran in.

Natalie smiled"So i slept in late.Not a big deal"Natalie said dropping her bag on the floor and walked over to Alice

Jace stored his clothes in his backpack when he finished changing. Then he returned to the backstage and waited for instructions.

Mia grabbed Natalie's costume and brought it to her, slightly annoyed.

"Jace, hair!" Alice yelled after him. "I know you think it's fine, but it's not for you to decide." She turned to Natalie. "Get in your costume, before Mia gets on your back."

Natalie sighed and grabbed her costume.She changed and put her clothes away

Mia's black heels clicked down the hall, pinning her hair up.

Jace walked over, laughing quietly. "Yes, I know." he said with an obidiant smile.

Alice grinned. "What play are we doing tonight?" she asked, sitting him down on the stool. "Have you seen Adilee for makeup yet? Or is she not here yet?"

Mia returned to her rack, shooting Natalie a warning glance. She returned to her last-minute fixings, tossing people their costumes and such.

Natalie sat on the floor making sure to keep her dress clean

((Shall we say Romeo and Juliet, to start us off? Just cause I assume everyone knows the basic plot... we don't have that many guy actors but we can always have girls playing guys.....or use our imaginations))

Foxcroft stuck his head backstage. "Are we nearly ready for dress rehearsal? Is everyone here?"

((Romeo and Juliet! Yes!!!! I saw it at Shakespeare theatre, it was amazing. Lol sorry, I'm a theatre freak :P))

((we have 3(i think) guys, so we can cover romeo and paris, and the rest can be actors without names or faces that we just mad up for generic extras))

"This is only dress rehersal?" Alice asked, confused. "I thought we had a show today. I'm in need of a new scheduale," she said, looking at the paper on the table in front of Jace.

((i'm not a theather freak, sorry :D but i do know shakespeare. We read him and see his play (movie and live) every year for school))

Mia sighed. "I thought today was a show too." She face palmed.

Natalie had a confused look on her face"What,darn it.I thought this was a show"

"This means I don't actually have to fix people's hair, right?" Alice asked, looking at Jace's already misted hair. "I could give you a haircut now that we're here," she offered him.

Jace nodded, looking at the paper. "I thought it was Friday already." he said with a shrug.

"Aghhh, now I'm gonna have to iron the costumes again." Mia complained, then sucked it up and moved on.

"It is a show day," returned Crofters, exasperated. "We're running it through once in before we open, yes? Is our Juliet here?"

((Who wants to be Romeo and Juliet? And the nurse, Tybalt, Mercutio, the friar, etc?))

Natalie sighed"Oh well"

Alice grinned. "I love it when Mia gets all rallyed up," she told Jace. "So, back to the question, haircut or no?"

"I heard that!" Mia's voice came from one of the rooms down the hall where she was tidying up her stuff.

Jace laughed quielty. "Yes please Alice." he said with a thankful smile.

Natalie laughed

Mia came back, a small smile on her face. "Don't get too ahead of yourselves." She warned lightly.

((i'm good with that. I don't really mind. oh, and if we run short on actors, we can create a scenario where my characters are made to go in.))

"You know I love you!" Alice yelled back to her, laughing. She loved being backstage.

"Guys, are we doing this or not?" Carson asked, pushing up his glasses as he looked at his clipboard.

Mia grinned at Alice. "Love ya too, hun." She replied.

Natalie smiled"I dont care if we do this or not"Natalie said streaching

Jace looked over his lines, speed reading through the script.

Alice grinned. "I can cut your hair too, if you want," she told her, twiriling the scissors in her hand.
