It looks like there is a new feature on GoodReads that allows you to automatically sync your Kindle reading with GoodReads. I heard about it on this thread: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/5...

I haven't tried it out, but I am going to. :)

Cool! I just added my Kindle profile (didn't know I had one :P). Will have to see how this works.

It only works for the 3rd generation kindles (the one available now) and not any previous versions. Boohoo! I guess I need to start saving some craft money so I can get in the game! LOL!

I have no idea what version I have! I got mine at Christmas, and it was the one without built in 3G wifi - what does that make mine? We've only had it in the UK for a little while so I don't remember any earlier versions :/

Does it have the skinny next page buttons and no numbers on the keyboard? If so, it is a K3 otherwise it is a K2. Most likely it is a K3 if you got it for Christmas.

Looks like it must be a K3. Hmm, I'll let you know how this syncing business goes!

Okay, I followed the link & did what I was told. I've been reading one of my currently reading books on the kindle & it didn't update my progress. Do I need to do more?
