R-R-Rolling! discussion

The world has just ended. Children are at school, parents at work when it happened. The earth shook and things began to fall. The next thing you know, builings are falling and smell of blood fills the air. You hear screaming and sobbing as you crawl out onto the street. The streets are ruiened and so are the builings. You are cut and scraped, no where to go. What are you going to do?

Nick screamed as everything fell down around him and he ran out of the buliding and tripped.

Aria screamed and ran for cover, everything around her was falling down, she saw as her sister died. Tears streamed down her face.

He rolled out of the way just in time escaping a pillar that fell he scrambled up and ran again.

Seraph stood out in the street, staring at the building collapsing before her.

Nick ran into someone.

Aria slipped out of the falling ruble. Just. She ran into two people on the street.

Seraph blinked in surprise as a boy ran into her. She grabbed his arm to steady him. "You ok?"

Aria stared at them. "Um..Er..Sorry" she murmured.

He stared at them"whats happening?!"

"The end of the world.." Seraph murmured. "I think."

She looked at them. "I think so too, I just saw my sister die..." She said, her face pale.

"Well we need to go go go!"

She nodded.

"Where exactly?"

Aria shrugged. "No idea..."

"Anywhere!"

"Nature reserve just east of here?"

"Let's go there for now..."

"Follow me." Seraph set off down the street, not looking at the building collapsing either side of her.

"Lets just go!" Nic said taking off again.

Aria followed Seraph.

Seraph glanced at Aria. "You ok?"

"Er...Um...Yeah..."

Nick skidded to a halt as a stone statue crashed in front of him.

"I heard a quote years ago that seems absurdly relevant now... “There are things that we never want to let go of, people we never want to leave behind. But keep in mind that letting go isn’t the end of the world, it’s the beginning of a new life.”

"Thats very nice"Nick said running up beside her.

Aria wandered slowly behind them, still distraught from seeing her sister die.

Seraph smiled grimly. "Yeah... This isn't, though."

Aria sped up, thinking it was pointless of her. She fell into step with them.

"So who are you guys?"

"My name's Aria..."

"Heya Aria. Nice name. Do you have family?"

"The last of it just died...My sister..." she said, a tear trickling down her cheek.

Seraph patted her shoulder. "Don't worry, it's only the end of the world."

She smiled at Seraph. "Very funny..."

Seraph chuckled. "You look nicer when you smile. Try it more often."

She grinned. "Why thankyou!"

Seraph pulled her aside as a dust cloud erupted from a building beside them. "Careful."

"Thanks..."

"No problem. Anytime."

She smiled. "Now, where's this preserve..."

"The reserve's just out of town... it's kind of small and not very well known. Should be coming into sight soon..."

She nodded. "Okay."

"..."

"Okay, so not very well known...We should be safe there..."

"Yeah. I know it really well. So when we get there, follow me and no fallind down crevasses."

She smiled slightly. "Alright."

"We should be fine then. Here it is now." The turned left into a thick forest. "It seems quieter in here..."

She nodded. "Too quiet..."
