I love anything with killer sharks in it, especially bad movies. I was delited when I was given this book about what would happen if the ancestor to the Great White Shark, Carcharodon Megalodon (Meg), was alive and well.

Laurie (ardelia27) Wonderful series! I enjoyed all three of them to date and there is a 4th book that is going to be released in the near future. I actually read The Trench while I was in labor with my son and what a wonderful diversion! I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about a new series of giant shark books after reading Jaws and adoring it but Alten's books stand up on their own. The interaction between the humans and the sharks is interesting. There is a lot more going on in this book than to be expected. Meg is not just a giant killing machine!

I have only read Meg. It was only recently that I discovered there were more books.

Laurie (ardelia27) I thought The Trench was just as good. The third one MEG Primal Waters was a bit silly but I still enjoyed it. I am really looking forward to reading the 4th one.

William (acknud) I just read MEG. I found it a quick enjoyable read. Should I go to the beach this summer?

Laurie (ardelia27) William- I agree with your assessment! They are all quick fun books. Great for the beach, LOL!
