Open question -- and curious what folks are reading.

Christopher (skitch41) | 2 comments Right now I am reading Present at the Creation My Years in the State Department by Dean Acheson by Dean Acheson and am really enjoying it. The first 100 or so pages, dealing with his time during the war years as Assistant Secretary of State, is pretty boring and feels disconnected from the big events that were going on around him. But once he becomes congressional liaison at the end of the war years, then Under Secretary of State, it becomes extremely fascinating. Right now, I am reading about his years as Secretary of State and I am just about to begin reading about the outbreak of the Korean War. I highly recommend you pick this up, if you can.
