Discuss the Hunger Games book here! What was your favorite part? Who is your favorite character? Spoilers ARE allowed, though, so watch out!

Well, I loved Prim and Rue, and my favorite parts were when they died (they needed a proper announcement) and when Peeta told Rue's family that they would give them some of the winner's earnings. (So thoughtful, for such a . . . . . can't think of a good word. . . .)
I liked the part when Katniss and Finnick and them were fighting off those mutant dogs in the third book

I just Googled "hunger games" in Google Images and found the German book cover. It has a girl peering out of the leaves and the title is, "Die Tribute Von Panem".
lol. it was kinda obvious, Cody. :P No need to translate. I think that's a pretty catchy title. But then again so is the Hunger Games. I remember glancing at the Hunger Games book in the library and thinking it was like this one episode of Doctor Who where this whole planet was a game show thing and in order to live you had to win the game. haha. So when I picked it up(after putting off reading it several times) I was expecting it to be a total sci-fi 'girl places in reality tv show and if she doesn't play the game and answer the questions right she will DIE' sort of thing. :P If it had been called "The Tribute from Panem" I probably would have read the book months before I did! haha.
haha. it is! Mwahahaha. :P It was weird. I saw a completely white spider crawling along the sink towards me while I was doing the dishes earlier today. Totally creepy. Looked a lot like a dead daddy long leg.... O.O
Omg got the first book today; reading it now! Only up to page 64 but sooo gd! How could I have put this off till now?
I think it's going to be mine, too. The first one is usually my fave, except in the case of HP books.
Ah. Yeah, I liked the first Hunger Games book, then the third, then the second... I don't have a fav order for HP. I didn't like any after three. Four was OK, but I didn't like it as much as the first three....
Yeah I didn't like the first one much after I read books 4 & up. For me this is the order of HP books: 6 5 4 3 1 2 7I read 7 a lot but I didn't like it because THEY AREN'T IN HOGWARTS and you know i have noticed the books get darker and darker. IN ORDER. 1234567!!! eeeeeee
I found a mistake in Hunger Games. It says PeaceMAKERS when Katniss is in the Justice Building before she is taken to the Capitol.
Hm, maybe it's only in my copy...there is this awesome series called Warriors and there are four authors who go by one pen name. They make so many mistakes. The best are gender blenders, when genders get mixed up.

Don't really care to read it as well."It's pretty sad, isn't it? I'm finding I like the side book "Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them" better than HP 4-7.
The goriest? O.o Nah. That's not gory at all..... You should have seen Sage's death back in arena one(the first). Now that was gory....
The extension is on the group description. It's where you can roleplay dead characters and Capitol and stuff.
Owl (Briaq) wrote: "Aw..."Yeah.... Sage died back when I wasn't even in charge of the group. hehe. That seems sooo long ago.
I've read it through...three times...maybe? You know, the Games are absolutely horrible, but yet fascinating and exciting at the same time.
LOL, a conversation with my mother the other day:Mom (holding book Fire Bringer and reading the back): I don't like this book.
Me: Why not?
Mom: It's violent and scary.
Me (extremely sarcastic): Oh, happy Hunger Games, mother!
And I got a Hunger Games calendar for Christams :D
HAAHA, "Oh, happy Hunger Games, mother!" HAHAHAHHAHAAA!
My little brother wanted to read the Hunger Games... He's nine. I said, "how about no?"
Maybe this is off the point of this topic but I have to say this!A friend of mine said to me today: "I just seen a trailer for a really cool looking film today!"
me: "oh yeah whats it called?"
him: "cant remember but they put 12 kids in a big stadium and make them kill each other!"
...... I honestly didnt no if I should laugh or cry haha DAMN more people need to read this!
