Better World Book Club discussion

I will be starting a discussion folder for alternate book choices that didn't get selected as group reads-- mostly because I'm impatient and I want to discuss books NOW. :P Any book discussed may still be selected as a future read for the in-person discussion. If you only have time for one book a month, then please make it the one selected for the in-person group discussion.

Remember that you can continue to discuss any of the monthly book selections even after that month is over.

Also, I've added a discussion folder where you may post online articles and news for further discussion.

Feel free to make any suggestions for the group.

Don't forget next Wednesday is the meeting to discuss Most Good, Least Harm: A Simple Principle for a Better World and Meaningful Life at 7PM at Raphsodic Bakery. Cuppycake discount for book club members. :)

Hey gang, since December's meeting falls on Dec. 28 (during the holidays) I was thinking of making December's meeting a movie night and discussing Cradle to Cradle in January. Thoughts?

For November's (11/24) meeting:
Please note that because of Thanksgiving, this is a special Sunday meeting time (from our regular fourth Weds. of every month).
Also, this was supposed to be discussed over two meetings, but due to low expected attendance, we cancelled part one of the discussion in September. So it'll be a fresh discussion. I look forward to seeing everyone and hearing your thoughts on " A New Earth"! It's such an interesting read!
