Sorry if I'm not suppose to do this. I didn't see a topic for the tenth book anywhere. I just have to say, I'm 308 pages into and have a little more than 100 more left to read and I absolutely LOVE this book! I really hope Flanagan writes more!!!!!!

So I guess this is the last book detailing Will's adventure. Flanagan said that he's going to write another that answers a lot of questions that spans the whole time line of the first ten books. So I thought was cool. But it's sad this is the end!
Here's a copy of the email he sent me, guys. It may or may not answer some of your questions.Hi!
I'm currently touring the United States and it's hard to keep up with my email. Often I can only access it through webmail, which is very slow and ponderous. So please forgive me if I use an auto reply for a change.
Book 10 has just been released and I hope you enjoy it. I've already had a few emails about it, and they all seem to ask the same question: is this the last book?
Book 10 completes the story of Will's progress from a young, inexperienced apprentice to one of the most respected and successful rangers in Araluen. So it's the end of that part of his story arc. I'll be doing a few more books, but they're set outside that time frame - spinoffs and prequels and so on. There's an eleventh book on the drawing board that answers a whole lot of questions readers have asked me over the years. It spans the entire time frame of the Rangers series, from before book 1 to after Book 10. It's due for publication at the end of this year.
In the meantime, I'm writing a new series called The Brotherband Chronicles. It's set in Skandia and the central character is a half Araluen, half Skandian boy who's designed a new sail rig for wolfships ( it's the sail plan described in Book 10, as a matter of fact. The new series is set a few years before book 10.)
As for movie news, I have sold movie rights to a director. He is currently raising the necessary funding. It all takes time. I'll be meeting with him on this trip. If there's any news to report, I'll do so on the website when I get home.
I'll be away from Australia from April 22 to May 13. I will be checking emails whenever I can but I may not have time to reply when I'm traveling. So if you have questions not answered here, please send them again after May 13 and I'll do my best to answer them.
Oh, I don't know. I really loved the first one but the seventh, ninth, and tenth were all really good too. I mean, I loved the whole series but I think these were my absolute favorites.
Nice...10 probably. I didn't like 7 as much...I like 9...Now what is ur fav news thing he talked about in the email u posted?
My favorite? *goes to read it again*Probably this one: "There's an eleventh book on the drawing board that answers a whole lot of questions readers have asked me over the years.
