Chelsea (fictionalheroine) | 3 comments Sigh. I wish everyone (and I mean everyone on the planet) would grow up and stop making the easy twilight jokes. How are they funny anymore? It feels like we've beaten it into dead horse smoothie.

Maleny | 2 comments I think that Twilight and the whole series as a whole is rather silly and the writing is rather bad. However I don't think ill ever be able to hate on it or bash on those who like it because of two reasons :

1) first, most of the people who followed the series are young, I was twelve when the book got really big. At the time I couldn't really judge what was a good book and what not, but it introduced me to reading and most importantly fandoms. Because of twilight I got the courage to pick up larger books like harry potter, and because of harry potter I stumbled upon merdfighteria. From there on my love for books just grew exponentially. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

2) If you make fun of people based on the things they like how are we diffrent? Remember what John said "Nerds are allowed to love things. Like jump up and down love things" or something along those lines. I don't really care what you read, be it Voltaire, Jane Austen, or Stephanie Perkings. Or some random fan fiction author or your friends writing, it doesn't matter. Once you start reading, and truly "jump up and down loving it", you're on the right track. Anyone who feels writing, who appreciates the beauty of books is made of awsome.

This is my humble opinion, I'm not trying to offend anyone who disagrees. Cheers and DFTBA
