((so, this topic is about our characters, but instead, when Aang was in his ice berg Katara and Sokka didn't find him. Why? They were killed. Aang was found by the fire lord and killed in the avatar state, so the avatar was not reincarnated (but Zarya is still alive, but only a waterbender. The fire nation is still taking over the world, wiping out the water tribes, and earth kingdom. So Raelynn's kingdom is under attack, same as Zarya's, Troy and his siblings are living in a city in the fire nation. thalia is alive, Sira and Archer, well i would expect they're still working for Azula, who is in line for the throne and married to Pater. Aeros doesn't exist... things like that.
it takes place around the same time as the first one... how about exactly then.... like Zarya's sixteenth birthday :)

Any questions?))

Thalia glared at her father. He had just been talking to her about marriage once again.
"No father. I will not be getting married... ever."
"Oh come now, you're much like your mother! She never thought about marriage either, but she married me."
"No dad. No."
"Pater, drop it." Azula said flatly.

Troy and Shana were sitting side by side on the beach, just waiting for something to happen. He put his arm around her and they smiled to each other. Life was good.

Trent was working his butt off in the palace to pay for his house, the one he didn't even live in... stupid Troy and his stupid refusal to live in the stupid palace...

Ammos and Tychi were both on ostrich-horses, heading to Omashu. For some reason Tychi wanted to go there, but Ammos didn't know why, all that she had said was, "Something's wrong." and when he asked what was wrong she said "nothing... never mind." then suddenly she needed to get to Omashu... he figured it had something to do with his dreams. He had heard her in her sleep... she had said one name... "Tandia,"

Sydney Zarya stood in front of her waterbending class, the dim lighting in the cave hardly enough light. She picked up the water and gently moved it around her body, when just as quickly as she froze the water and made an ice spear. Zarya threw it across the class' heads and made it into liquid again before hitting the ground. Her teacher walked over and bowed. "Perfection as always."
Zarya bowed back. "Thank you Master." She went back to the group and sat down, sighing. She wished they could be above ground practicing, but ever since the firebenders killed Avatar Aang, supposedly hidden in a chunk of ice for 100 years, things weren't the same. Waterbenders dying left and right, she was worried they would be the next benders to be extinct. This holocaust of the "inferior" elements was getting out of hand.

Raelynn stood in front of her huge earthbending battalion. She looked over the soliders, they were hurt and scarred, but in their eyes shone something. Pride. Pride for their element, their nation, and those who had fallen before them. Her father was dead, the Earth kingdom taken, none believed the long lost princess would return home. But Raelynn had a duty to her people, they needed hope and she was there.
"I know we have suffered great defeats and savored awesome victories, but we still have a long way to go. The firebending tyranny will end soon, but for now it still has a hold on us. But we are Earthbenders, we bow to no one!"
She was met by cheers, Toph, her right hand solider walked up. "Rae? We have numbers from our latest battle." She smiled and face the crowd. "We have taken back a small island nation in the name of the Earth Kingdom!"

Sydney ((Haha I thought about it and then I read it :) If Zarya knew that Troy was with another girl............. >:) she'd suffer, but since she knows neither of them... Mwhaha.))

Fajra sat in her palace-like home. Her firebending parents were off doing great things for their nation. She smiled and relaxed.

Ondryn sat alone by a pool of crystal clear water, a single tear escaping her eyes as she played with a leaf in the air, teaching it to fly but her efforts soon cascaded into nothing, as her emotions fell even more, and the leaf plummeted to the ground, landing in an uncomfortable looking position on a sharp rock. "If you were human, you'd be dead." She told the leaf, not angrily, but in truth. Because it would, in fact be quite dead if it had only been human. A perfect equality to her brother...
The sound of someone sitting down beside her came and she looked up sadly. "Death is a funny thing... isn't it?" She told him, simple and quiet.
He picked up the leaf, his dark hair seemed to tell a story as it blew in the wind. Examining the leaf carefully for a moment, he spoke to her. "Ondryn... It doesn't replace him... Nothing will... it's been two years. You need to let go." His burgundy eyes looked up at her, and she sighed. "I'm aware... I just miss him sometimes..."
"I know." He said, "You and Vaer were very close. Closer than any siblings i've heard of anyway." He lifted her chin and smiled, cupping her face in his hands.
"He was my best friend, not just my brother. And they took him from me. killed him.. How am i supposed to let go?" She wondered, feeling the warm sunny glow falling into her hair, and spilling down her face, ending at her nose. She pushed her copper hair behind her ear as she so often did, her green eyes fixed on his face, searching for an answer to fix her heart.
He moved his face closer to hers, looking straight into her eyes and said clearly, "Because he would want you to, Ondryn. He would want you to be happy."
"What can make me happy?"
"You have me..." he said, before kissing her. "And I love you very much."
Ondryn smiled, "I love you too Dune..." she whispered, closing her eyes.
"Aww that's cute ^_^" Codai said, interrupting them, with a smile. "We gotta go.. the fire nation is on its way.. Come on."
The two of them got up and followed Codai out of the courtyard, into the west hall, and raced down to the front entrance, hiding behind multiple pillars. A monk was walking by, and Ondryn sped him up by flicking a hand, and making him zoom fifty away. The eighty year old man looking around him, smiling incredibly at his sudden energy boost, and marching gleefully out to try and play airball with the now nervous-looking children. Dune and Codai laughed together, patting Ondryn on the back. "Now THAT was funny." Codai said, still chuckling. The three ran out to the cliff, where a bison was tied up to a willow tree. Dune untied the rope as Codai and Ondryn hopped onto Eidae. "Come on Dune!" Ondryn called, and he grabbed hold of the saddle, and they left epically into the sunrise. (( :D ))

Tandia was in Omashu, being twenty two, and nothing exciting in her life had happened yet at all. She stood against a tree, in her favourite forest, waiting for her teacher. She was good... a good earthbender, and she wanted to leave. Her teacher was awesome at all, but she wanted to leave... To do something important with her skills... For once in a lifetime, actually have a chance to live she sighed and kicked a rock. The fire nation was raiding cities and towns, in search of any bender. Some days life here was so boring, she was almost tempted to turn her self in, just for something to DO. Her entire city was living in fear. Doors and windows borded up everywhere you looked. No one smiled anymore, not even her father. The one who used to tell her jokes, and laugh at everything she said. And her mother no longer encouraged her. She'd once been so proud of her daughter's abilities, and told her that one day she would save the world. Now everything was the opposite. Her mother never stopped begging her to be normal, until she'd finally had to lie, and say that she'd quit earthbending. this, of course, was a total lie. She could never stop... It was the only thing she had after all...

Walking along an icy railing, Miyu accidentally slipped, falling from the bridge, and into the ice cold water below. She erupted from the water in a fit of coughing and gasping, waterbending a raft to keep her afloat. Her pet rat, Aro popped out of her sleeve and scurried upon her head, to stay dry. Hissing in annoyance. "Oh shut up..." she told him, swimming for close shore. She loved living here of course. The northern water tribe was completely untouched by any of those nasty firebenders. Life was good.

Todd stood in the central market place of the small village where he lived, gathering fruit for his fiancé, Karaya. She was sick in bed, and needed medicine. Being poor, Todd could not afford the medical services Karaya needed. Todd thought he'd try to make his own.

((ohmygosh my writing sounds really bad right now :/))

Troy pulled Shana to her feet and strolled along the streets with her, heading home, Shana lived with him and Trent now, though Trent didn't really live there any longer... the only thing was, it could get awkward... whenever someone was to mention the avatar... something inside of him stirred... he was in love. he knew it, he knew what love was, but the only female avatar he could recall was Avatar Kyoshi... she died like 400 years ago, and he had never met an avatar... so he didn't know what to make of that feeling exactly, but nonetheless...
"Troy?" Shana asked, "What's wrong?"
"i think... i.. think..."
"think...?"
"We're home." he said flatly.

Ammos and Tychi finally came to a stop in front of the high stone archs of Omashu... but they realized too late that the insignia was of the fire nations.
"Name?" a man asked.
"A..mmos." Ammos said failing to come up with a nickname on the spot."
"and her?" he asked Ammos, females were not required to speak to guards now a days.
"I can speak for myself thank you," tychi said, "my name is Li."
"Isn't that a boy's name?"
"I did not name myself."
"Carry on..." the man said a little confused.
"that was easy..." Ammos said as the gates closed behind them.
"Where is this Tandia person?"
"No clue..." She said.

Tandia watched carefully as her teacher, the badgermole re-taught her the steps she already knew. He seemed to sense she was feeling off and stopped, coming over to her, searching her soul and mind for an explanation. When he saw what was wrong, he sniffed the air, and motioned for her to follow. He led her to the edge of the forest and told her to go home.
"I'd rather not..." Tandia said, refusing to take another step. "I would much rather spend the rest of my day doing something at least a little productive. The badgermole seemed to argue, telling her it was not productive if she did not want to learn. He told her to wait for her destiny, and it would come... very soon. He could smell it. Tandia, of course did not understand, because she could not speak badgermole. So instead, Tandia simply figured her teacher wanted her to leave the forest and not return for the rest of the day.
Tandia shrugged the light day bag with her, consisting of hidden rocks, and pebbles. She would practice some more in her room...

"Well, do you at least know who she is?" Ammos asked.
"Yes..." Tychi said, "My dream told me... she's an earthbender... she has black hair... really pretty green eyes... and she lives here."
"Black hair." Ammos stated in astonishment. "Everyone has black hair here!"
"I know!" Tychi yelled, "let's just ask around." Tychi jumped off of her ostrich-horse and walked up to an elderly man, "Do you know of an earthbender named Tandia?" She asked.
"It's hard to say..." He said.
"Why is that?"
"Earthbending is forbidden... but everyone is registered in city hall so the fire benders can keep track... if you ask nicely then you'll be able to take a look."
"Thank you sir," Tychi smiled.
"No problem..."

Pater thanked the maids for the meal and wandered out of the room. Azula looked to Thalia, "Hunny," she said, "i was wondering if you could accompany my workers."
"What? Sira and Archer?" Thalia asked, "Why does it matter? Aren't they skilled enough?"
"Yes, they are, but I need to make sure they stay away from the fire nation."
"Why?"
"i'm going to have them killed, but i'm not ready for them yet."
Thalia nodded, "Ok mom." Thalia smiled and she stood instantly, "Where do i go?"
"the earth kingdom."

Sydney Zarya's rogue class left the cave in secrecy, one by one. She was the last to go, so she put out all of the fires. She walked through the fields and up to her lonely house. They had taken her mother and sentenced her to work in the fire mines, because she refused to give Zarya up for training to be a waterbender fighting against her own kind. She walked in and laid down on her bed, exhaustion crossing her face.

Raelynn left her battalion to go to her room. She walked alongside one of the bodyguards Toph had insisted she keep. Toph had always said, "You're the pretty of the operation, that's why we have so many willing men to fight." She would laugh. "I know I'm gorgeous and all, but they like you more."

"There." She pointed, and they started.

Thalia was in a boat within the next fifteen minutes and then was sailing across the ocean in search of those called "Sira and Archer" ... her mother wanted them dead... so that meant she wanted them dead as well.

Trent was sent by Azula on the same boat as Thalia, but not a single person besides herself knew of this, so when Trent was sent to tend to the ships captain in her room, he was surprised to find the firelords daughter in front of him.
"Thalia?"
"Oh Trent!" Thalia said, shocked. "What are you doing here?"
"I--"
before he could say another word she was kissing him.

(S) ((really?! But it's like.. sad! They hate each other!))

Sira glared at the women who held the house. There wasn't even a sign of the Avatar in this stuipid village. While the crew was preparing the ship she glared at the water. Water was the opposite of fire. Where the heck was the stuipid avatar?

"There isn't one." Someone behind her said. She turned quickly on one foot, clicking her heals together.
"What do you want?" she growled at the dark haired boy. From behind the houses, a bit away, three girls watched Archer, giggling. Sira didn't even think of why. "You don't even make any sense." She turned back to the sea.
"Acualtally, i do." He said, coming to stand beside her, arms folded behind his back. "If the Avatar dies in the Avatar stage, he isn't reincarnated."
Sira snorted, "She wouldn't send us on a pointless mission. He's around here somewhere." She said, "Where would you even here of something like that?"
Archer didn't look at her. "My great-grandmother was friends with a Avatar. It's all written down by her. I'm not lying."
Sira considered this for a second. "Then why are you even here?" She retorted.
"Because i don't have the gutts to face Azula's rath." He said sharply, looking right down at her. Even when they were fourteen, Archer was a good two inches taller the Sira. They glared at each other for a few second. Icy blue eyes against grass green.
"And what do you oppose?" Sira growled, lot letting up her ground.
"Nothing." Archer said, clearing his throat, and backing up, glancing at the girls behind the house once. "Yet." He said, turning to return back to the ship.
Sira's skin was all prickly. Her face felt hot, from anger she impossed. That stuipid boy! He doesn't know anything! I'm the captin here! Waht does he know, right?!

Thalia woke the next morning with Trent getting dressed not far from her, "Trentie!" She said, "Where are you going?"
"I didn't want to wake you..." he said, "But we are here... I must leave."
"Oh... Trent!" She cried out, "Please!"
"I have no choice Thalia... Goodbye...."
"Trent. You will not leave."
"I will! Thalia, if i do not your dad will hunt until he finds me... and kill me!"
Thalia nodded, then stood and hugged him, and began kissing him once again, "Thalia, get dressed you fool!" he laughed.
"I'm sorry..." She sighed, returning to her bed and pulling the covers around her, but when she turned back, Trent was gone.

Trent made his way to the palace of Ba Sing Se where he easily found someone to help him. "Hi..."
"Hi." Toph said flatly.
"I'm looking for Princess Raelynn..."
"Who sent you?"
"The firelord."
"How do I know i can trust you?"
"Azula didn't want me. You can trust me."
"Ahkay." Toph said, "Follow me."
She lead him to a door at the top of the stairs inside and she knocked three times. "Princess!" She called, "A boy is here to see you!"

Ammos whispered to Tychi, "I've got this." He walked up to the woman and smiled, "Hey there sweetcheeks!" He winked to her.
"Kid get lost."
He pulled himself onto the desk, and slid to the other side.
"Don't you find me the least bit attractive?"
"You're at least fifteen years younger than me. Get lost."
"Damn..." Ammos said, "Don't matter, I have a boyfriend anyway."
Ammos smiled then stomped his foot. The woman was encased and he spun around, then grabbed a scroll off of the desk and ran out of the bulilding. He opened it quickly and scanned through it. "Uh... i think.... Tandia... GOt it!"

"INSIDE!" Sira ordered to the older man, once they were in, she grabbed a chain that came lose and started to tie it down. The wind blew hard, and the ship learched sideways, Sira slid down the deck, she started slowly making her way back, and then a part of tghe mast broke, falling right on her, knocking her out.

There was a knock on the door from somewhere downstairs. Tandia's mother got up slowly to answer, taking caution and precision with every step.
"Who is it?" Her father asked his wife, the sound of an old straw-made chair scraping the floor.
"I don't know..." Alyana answered in a whispered voice... "It can't be Veeliz, she's not due with the potatoes 'till this evening..."
Tandia's parents' voices made as though they were calm, but curled up on her bed, and hugging her knees tiredly, Tandia felt every syllable shake with a worried fear that they might be found. Her mother worried firebenders would come and take her daughter away... but she worried too much. Tandia was fine.
Downstairs, the door creaked open a crack. "Who is it?" Her mother questioned intently.
Her father approached her with echoing footsteps, "Who are you two?" He repeated in a more angry voice.
"We are Li and Ammos, friends of Tandia's... Is she home? We need to speak to her."
"friends?" He wondered... Tandia doesn't have friends...
"Tandia?!" Her mother called, summoning her downstairs.
A little confused, Tandia slowly made her way downstairs. She had no friends, so she didn't know why these people were here. She rounded the corner and stepped off the last step, hitting the floor lightly. Eyes flicking back and forth between the two figures lurking in the doorway.
“Can I help you?” She asked, leaning against the wall awkwardly.

Archer sat on the sand a ways away, saying he was working on a fire. He was really just watching Sira. She seemed so useless.

Sira started her streches. She started with various splits, finishing her stretches with a long kick in the hair. She started all her bending then, so let lost her power. It was amazing, just to see her, thought Archer, she wasn't useless, she was amazingly strong. It was obvious why Azula choose her, she has a level mind when shes bending. he mused over that idea.
