Caleb Branham | 2 comments Unspoken sermons by George MacDonald, is a great read for any one in walk with the Lord. MacDonald, to me is one of the most gifted writers ever. He depicts the christian faith in such an elegant form that one can not help but stop and marvel at his ability. This book is probably my favorite of his, but if you can get your hands on any of his books do, they are all a treat for readers of all ages.

Ctf Devourer (ctfdevourer) | 1 comments If you like George MacDonald, you will probably like Michael Phillips, who not only edited and republished his books, getting them out there on the market, but also considers MacDonald his mentor and patterns his writings after him! Secret of the Rose series is especially amazing in my personal opinion!

Caleb Branham | 2 comments i will look into him, but many great christian authors such as cs lewis, who has written a few intro's for macdonald, give him high praise for his work. Does Phillips mold his writing style to Macdonalds fantasy or more to his theological style. In my earlier post i pointed out unspoken sermons but honestly Lilith is my all time favorite book, which is written by him.

Wee Sir Gibbie of the Highlands (George Macdonald Classics for Young Readers) by George MacDonald
I think my favorite of all George MacDonald's novels is Sir Gibbie.
