Hi! I'm Emily and I haven't read any of Alexandre Dumas books, but I'm really interested, so, yeah.

message 10: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Lol! I'm kinda bored. I really need to go clean my room. I will in like.... 5 minutes maybe. :)

message 11: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) I had to clean yesterday and it took ALL DAY!! I was sad because I didn't get much Goodreads in. ;(

message 12: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Haha, yeah, well... I have to go do that soon. :(

message 13: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) I have to go away for three hours soon. Be back in three hours!

message 14: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Hi again!

message 15: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) Hola!

κίρστεν (Kirsten) (kirsten_j) Wow Emily! You and Connor do a LOT on Goodreads!

Well... I've read The Three Musketeers and The Count of Monte Cristo also... That's about it for the ones everybody knows. =P Um... I didn't have any plans to read other books by Dumas, but if anyone knows of a really good one, I might stick it on my ever growing to-reads list.

We do do a lot! I've been enjoying the past few days reading believe it or not instead of GoodReads.

message 19: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) I am getting sick of Goodreads but in this barren wasteland, there is currently nothing else to do but read and play video games (I do do those a lot as well though too).

message 20: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Wyoming did seem a bit wasteland-ish.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

It IS a bit wastelandish

message 22: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) Except for in the mountains. Everywhere else may as well be the Sahara Desert with sagebrush everywhere.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

yeah

message 24: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Bummer. My state has just about every climate you can think of. Not joking. I live in the desert-ish part of it. :(

message 25: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) Which state is it?

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

what state is it?

message 27: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Just look on my profile!

message 28: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) I WANT TO GO TO THAT STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT'S WHERE MY FAVORITE FOOTBALL TEAM IS!!!!!!!! I Love the Seahawks! I have a Seahawks painting on my bedroom wall! :D

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

AND IN THE BACK OF YOUR PIC!

message 30: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Lol! I've never been to one of their games. But I go to Seattle all the time. :P

message 31: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) Awesome! Do you go to any Mariners games (talking baseball now)?

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

No :D

message 33: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Lol! I think he's talking to me but... no. I haven't. All my brothers have though. I prefer shopping. :P

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

I hate shopping. I never have anything to look for.

message 35: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) Shopping? I like shopping for stuff I want, like books or video games or something along those lines. I don't like shopping for clothes or to hang out and shop! That's weird. I'd MUCH rather a baseball game.

message 36: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Kathryn Well, I'm not one of those girls who's crazy about baseball. I don't like to shop insanely, but I do prefer it over watching a game I don't even understand. :(

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

I'd prefer a game I don't understand over shopping. No offense

message 38: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) I'd prefer ruling the world with a government I don't understand than anything else.

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

>:(

message 40: by Connor (new)

Connor Kinkade (connork) :)

message 41: by Scott (new)

Scott (SirrusProxima) | 1 comments Back to Dumas, if you read "Count of Monte Cristo" be sure to read the unabridged it's the only way to read it and get all the cynical humor. I've read it 7 times and it is still my favorite book. Others to read are his newly discovered one "The Last Cavellier" which is fairly interesting. "The man in the Iron Mask" if you want the amazing sequel to "Twenty years after" and the was an alright sequel to "Three Musketeers". There is a very interesting character dilemma ongoing between the four original friends throughout all 3 books. Just some ideas.

message 42: by Paulo (new)

Paulo Yes, "read the unabridged" I'm still adding titles to my bookshelves...

message 43: by Valerio (new)

Valerio Rossetti | 1 comments Hi everybody, I'm Valerio and I have the three musketeers, the count of Montecristo and Queen Margot. I'm currently reading twenty years after.
