Strange Angels (Strange Angels, #1) Strange Angels question

Worth it to continue?

I just finished Strange Angels and feel kind of indifferent about the series. The plot was jumpy and I felt like I had to wait for the action to happen. Also to top it all off there was no good love scenes or even a viable love interest, I thought Graves was kind of lame. Really crying in the truck after the actions happened? He seemed like a wuss.

Anyway I guess my question is, Is it worth it to continue the series? Does it get better or is it more of the same?

Yes, yes yes yes it gets better. I was the same way after I finished the first one, but the other ones are really good! And there is no love in the first one; but in the second one you start to see some love evolve with a .... different character.
I totally agree about the Graves thing. He is kinda lame. But the series gets better, so read on!

Graves kinda gets worse but the series gets better. I LVOE this series

OMG definitely continue gets so much better as you continue the series

You should keep reading the series i'm itchin' to find out what happens in the fourth.(After Serji kidnaps him).
And Graves gets better throught out the books.(NOT WORSE!!!)

Yes you gotta keep reading on the fourth book Dru went on her own to save Graves. I'm not gonna say anymore .Don't want to spoil it for those that haven't read it yet.

I had some trouble with the third one. I just didn't feel like enough happened. But the fourth truly made up for it, and now I'm thinking the fifth is going to be explosive.

Yeah you should totally carry on reading. I mean, its not like they're very big books anyway. I liked the fourth book best and can't wait for the fifth and final one in November. Oh and Graves gets sooooooo much more manly once he gets into the scholas and makes friends with the werewolves.

I read Strange Angels and Betrayals. The plot to the series is interesting (The plot was the only thing that kept me reading), but there is too much of Dru's thoughts and too much redundant description and not enough of the plot.

My break down for the series is, 34% of Dru's thoughts. 33% of description and 33 of actual plot.

If I ever decide to continue the series and continue to Jealousy, it won't be anytime soon.

YES, YES, YES:)
It gets better each book:)
Can't wait for the next book after 'Defiance' !!!^^

The books are worth reading. There are 4 out and the last one comes out in October. It's not like other series where some authors like to drag some of the ridiculous plots on.

Yes you will HATE Dru if you are a Christophe fan. Which I am. I am not a big Graves fan in fact I really wish she never met the kid. But it is important to the story. She begins to evolve in the books after the first one.

I'm just glad I only have to read one more book and it's over. I hate the suspense. Book four has me on edge and pissed off. Can't wait!

I definitely recommend continuing on with it.

I am on the last book and it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!!!!!!!!!

The first book had so many twists and turns. I kind of liked the fact that it wasn't over done. there are different issues that she has to face the entire book. Most of the books are fast paced and running from danger and almost always someone is hurt.

well, if you didn't like the first, i don't know how you will feel about the rest. the plot doesn't get much better but the characters do (btw, i LOVE graves) and, from what i remember, they are fairly quick reads. but if the first one didn't do it for you (how could you not love graves???) i don't think you will like the others. hope this helped.

the books in the serie do get better
i finished reading all the series man the last book is the best!
