Jackie called Josh for about the 15th time. She was so worried she was practically in tears.

Josh reached for his phone.

She knew she shouldn't have gone on the raid tonight. It was too risky.

He answered his phone, "hello?"

She cleared her throat, controlling her voice. "How'd it go?"

"Ok," he answered.

"I...can you come over?" She needed to see if he was okay

"Um, i don't know," he answered nervously.

Her breath caught in her throat. She took a breath, reassuring herself. "Oh...why?" She didn't want to seem clingy, it made him mad.

"I..... I got hit. Don't Freak, its not THAT bad." he answered.

She paused. "Where?" He was always telling her not to care so much, that he didn't know what would happen.

"My leg, it's just a graze, really its no big deal." He said, he wished she didn't worry about him so much.

She kept her voice calm "Okay, well I just want to see you. I promise I won't say anything about it..."

He sighed, "Okay I'll come over."

((be back in like an hr and a half))

"Thanks" She said, hanging up and slipping cut off shorts on and a tight tank top. She looked in the mirror, wiping eyeliner and mascara off and reapplying her make-up. She fixed her bra, going to the front yard.

He got into his car limping. He drove over and saw her in her yard. He pulled into her drive. He limped over to Jackie and hugged her.

She hugged him gently, noticin his limp

Noticing her glancing at his leg he said, "its really not that bad,"

She bit her lip. "What did you get hit with?"

"I'm not really sure, it was something metal," he looked at her, "don't worry about me."

She nodded reluctantly, pulling him inside

He followed her.

She sat him down, peeling off his pants. She gasped, her hands flying to her throat. "Not that baddd?

He lifted her chin and looked her in the eyes, "No, its not."

She was tearing up. "Oh god, please..." She got some things to clean him up

He looked at her,"I thought you weren't going to make a big deal out of this." He sighed.

She bit her lip "You...I can see your fucking bone. How is it "not that bad"

He sighed, "I didn't want to tell you this.... They killed Mark." he said reluctantly.

She bit her lip, her breath catching. She cuddled into his chest, crying. "You need to tell me everything"

He brushed her hair away from her face. "I'm sorry. i wanted to wait," he sighed, "They barged in, went after me, hit my leg. Mark tried to stop them, and...."

"what were ya'll even doing?"

"We weren't doing anything, they're a rival gang, they foud out we were there, and attacked."

"The one sabrina is in?" she exclaimed

"Yes," he looked at her.

She got mad "that bitch!" she got up "I'm gona..."

"Don't! Don't do anything!" he reached for her hand.

She frowned when he pulled her back down. "Why? She is a lil snitch...." She sighed, disinfecting his wound and wrapping it in gauze

"But if you say anything, they'll come after me again. Just don't start anything." He cringed from the pain. He held her hand. "It'll be okay, really."

She bit her lip but nodded, "Sorry. Just...sorry."

"It's fine," He squeezed her hand, "It will be ok, I promise."
