Kira walked down the sidewalk, pulling her coat tighter against her in the cold weather. She really hated spring. She stopped at the corner, waiting for the light to change.

Rin sighed, just walking out from his house.

Crossing the street, Kira looked around her self-consciously. She hated going anywhere by herself. Especially since her mom would freak out when she got back....

Rin kicked a stone and glanced across the street

Kira felt like someone was looking at her and when she glanced up, sure enough, the guy across the street was looking in her direction. She quickly looked back in front of her, her face heating up. She got really nervous when people looked at her.
