I am just curious if the soundtracks from the movies also play in your head? I usually have some music playing in my head all the time but for several years now its mainly been Twilight. When I wake up in the morning its usually Bella's Lullaby. Does this happen to you also?

Lindis Russell (lindyloudawn) | 19 comments Yes, I love the music, it has actuall opened my mind a little more to other genres of music. I bought the piano music to Twilight and hope to get New Moon soon. I can play the "easy version" of Bella's Lullaby, among others. : ) Supermassive Blackhole is my all time favoirte song now. I think it's because Emmett is so darn hot in the baseball scene! he he : ) I put that song on the end of every CD I make on my computer. It just dosen't get old for me.

Some of my other faves are;
Twilight: Flightless Bird ~ Full Moon ~ Eyes on Fire
New Moon: Possiblity ~ Satelite Heart ~ Monsters
Eclipse: Heavy In Your Arms ~ My Love ~ Chop and Change
And I can't wait to here what's coming up for Breaking Dawn!

Oh, I so envy you being able to play Bella's Lullaby. I also like Supermassive Black Hole but it seems I like every single song on both CD's!! That is very unusual for me. I always liked Clare De Lune but now had to buy it.

I think my favorite after Bella's Lullaby might be the first one on New Moon CD. "meet me on the equinox, meet me half way.." I also like Chop and Change and wish I could understand all the words. Some of them baffle me.

Great discussion! My sister is also a huge fan of the novels, and will be getting married next year. Before she met her fiance, she always said she was going to walk down the aisle to "Clare de Lune" since she loved that Edward played it for Bella. Well, she's already got a pianist lined up and, yep, she's going to walk down the aisle to "Clare de Lune".

As for me, I LOVE both the score and the original soundtrack to the first one. The others are good, but the first one's music is so unique. My favorite song is the Muse song from the first movie ("Solitary Black Hole," I think?). I also really like "Meet Me on the Equinox." Good stuff!

How wonderful to walk down the aisle to Clare de Lune! I love that. I was just listening to the soundtrack from Twilight. Played it two times already today. I like to pull it up on Utube so I can just listen over and over to....Bella's Lullaby. There is a big argument there so be sure to click on the Original soundtrack that has the movie picture or you may get A river runs thru you or something else. Also, I did get hacked from there so be careful.

I love it, too! I get teary eyed just thinking about the ceremony; it's going to be so beautiful.

That's really scary about youtube. I use it a lot but rarely log in. Good to know.

"Break of Dawn" by Michael Jackson.

Kidding!!! Although that song would be really appropriate, I really don't know. I think it's safe to guess Muse will have a song.

Nice song but doesn't seem to be the Twilight style to me.

Tiff (toastreads) I really like the soundtracks but when I first read Twilight I had just bought a Billy Talent II CD and had it loopig all the time. Now when I listen to that CD I always think Twilight. Or I'll break it out while I reread the series just because it became the unofficial soundtrack to me. It isn't really Twilight-ish but I've come to find some of the songs fit pretty well and because I think the music is unique, I think it suits it just fine.

That is wonderful! I watched the movie so much that I got all the songs in my head and then bought the soundtrack. Just recently I learned some of the words to Flightless Bird. I should have posted them here as they are very strange. My poet friend Alice Shapiro did an interpretation for me as they are very baffling words.

I loved the last 5 songs the most and play them over and over.

Bella's birthday is in a few days and I wish I could be in Forks for it. I bet thousands of fans will be there.

Tiff (toastreads) I really like Flightless Bird and meant to look up the lyrics because their... different, but never got to it. Definitely on my to-do list again. lol

I found them by accident on Utube. I probably saved them in email somewhere but will look to see if I can get them again. I did pick up my Alice Cullen choker today at the post office and it is wonderful. It says put right in place and the color goes with everything. I would like a black one too so maybe they will get some more colors.

message 15: by Tiff (new)

Tiff (toastreads) I just looked it up and the lryics are really odd so I also found a translation for it. I guess it can also be a matter of opinion. Like poetry, the song can have multiple meanings. And I picked up the choker a couple times because I think it's cute but always end up putting it back down. I kind of want the engagment ring too. And I once found Bella's bracelet at a Hot Topic and didn't have the money for it at the time and now the store is gone so I have to find one online. Gotta love Amazon. haha

The lyrics are very odd. I was unable to find the words this time so back to my email to search. I had to listen to other songs so got distracted. I wanted to get a choker when I was in Forks but didn't find the right one. I don't really care for the little metal thing as I would rather have something sparkly so in time I may replace it. I made my own before going there but it would not stay in place and kept slipping on my throat.
Yes, I do love Amazon.

Tiff (toastreads) The Renesmee locket is really pretty. I just now saw a couple variations of that. I may have to get it once the movie is out and I can get the replica.

Yep, some of those are great. Did anyone else think that they heard a refrain from Clare de Lune in Eclipse just before Heavy In Your Arms? Just before the proposal scene while Bella was still outside?

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

I didn't notice Clare de Lune but will watch it later today when I get back from my Red Hat meeting to see if I hear it. I miss many things so appreciate them being pointed out.

thanks, Alice Cullen who loves the new Alice Cullen choker! Going to wear it again today after washing it in lavender.

Julia Arrrgh, my laptop just did a weird thing, deleted my comment. I have to write it all over again.
My favourite songs from New Moon are: Meet Me At The Equinox, I belong To You, Satellite Heart, Violet Hour, White Demon Love Song, Hearing Damage and many many more!
From Twilight, I enjoy the Supermassive Black Hole by Muse.
Eclipse: Definitely Eclipse(All Yours), My Love, With You In my Head, Chop And Change, I LOVE Muse's Neutron Star Collision, Jonathan Low, Heavy In Your Arms...
Funny thing is that whenever I hear Rihanna's Only Girl In The World, I think of the New Moon. It's because when I was reading New Moon, all the radio stations were playing this song and I guess it kind of stuck with me.

How far to do you have to drive? My longest commute long ago was 32 miles to Chase Field Naval Air Station.

message 34: by Lacy (new)

Lacy | 7 comments My commute, depending on traffic, is about 30 minutes one way. Not too bad. Some people I work with drive an hour to get to work.

~☆~Autumn | 27 comments 30 minutes seems to be norm anymore. An hour is just too long to me.
