We're on Board #1 - playing against Red, Blue, and Orange......gotta check out the other teams. Ya'll have probably been here longer than I have, so ya'll will probably have a better idea of the competition. In case you hadn't noticed.....I'm from Texas. Where are ya'll from?

Gooood morning ladies!, just found out I got a team.

I'm from Sonora, Mexico (right below Arizona) and love to read, mostly PNR, contemporary and historical romance but if it's good I'll probably like it.
I just turned 30 two weeks ago so I feel like I'm getting to this new stage of wisdom and maturity... I don't think I'm really there yet... or anywhere near but I'm confident it'll come eventually.
I'm a math teacher at a... I guess the equivalent would be high school (my kids are 12-15) and I love it!, kids are fun to hang around. I wish I could find a way to motivate them to read more but they like TV and their computer waaaay too much.

I've been to Sonora! We lived in Tucson many eons ago.....

My first thought when I saw we were Green, was the Green Dragons for a name. That's cuz I've been reading too many Katie MacAlister books. Drake..... *sighs*

Anyways.... Margarita Mamas is funny. Lol. I wish I had a maragarita.... Yum....

I'm from Illinois. Not much here. There's corn.... Eh....

Hey Alyssa. We have cows. Oooh and mines, at least over on my side. ( I live in Danville, near Champaign.)

I'm in Montreal. We have maple syrup.

Hmmmm.....Montreal, Canada; Illinois; Austin, Texas; and Sonora, Mexico.

Green Dragons. I like it! Could use a more descriptive color of green if we wanted to. Jade, Emerald, Olive, Chartreuse. I've never read the Katie MacAlister books.

Well, in Austin everything is burnt orange, for the UT Longhorns. Not much green here!

We need to pick one AND a team captain. Did any of ya'll play in the Bingo? Anybody here play chess? Either of those would be good for our Team Captain. I'm not a chess player, and I wasn't active here in time to do Bingo.....anybody want to volunteer??????

I think Jade Dragons would be a little cooler than Green Dragons, maybe. I dunno. I'm not really good at making decisions.

I like the Jade Dragons... Kind of fits with the mood of this group. Lots of Dragon books out there.

Kind of makes me want Chinese food. Lol.

I was here for Bingo and it was so much fun, my team, the ONEders finished 3rd... SO CLOSE!!

I see a huge difference: when we played Bingo it didn't matter if you stayed behind a bit, especially with the first shelves, but CC4 is like... Gosh!, it all moves so much faster here!

Hey - gotta know the competition.....as lame as it may be! Not you personally, but as a whole!

OK - I used Steph's handy dandy time calculator.

Toronto is Midnight now
Illinois is 11 PM now
Texas is 11 PM now
Sonora is 8 PM now

I'm usually up and on the computer until 11 pm or midnight most nights.....but I don't have any internet access at work.

Cool!, we're pretty much on the same time-zone, that'll come handy.

Sure, if you all want me to, I can be Captain but I really hope there's a better strategist among us...
I'm more of a "go with the flow" kind of gal, I usually let my better half do all the forward thinking (he's a planning freak... seriously, there's something very wrong with him).

You should also know that, as a teacher, I'm used to pushing my kids to get their best efforts...

and I enjoy it!

What time in the evenings are you able to get here? I'm usually able to be here around 6:30 or so till close to Midnight. I work Saturdays until 3 pm, and I don't have internet access at all while I am at work.

Maybe we could arrange a "meet up" time in the evenings to discuss the strategy, then let Lili drop the chip?????
