I laugh when Light dies! SWEET REVENGE!!! but Obata- san wanted more realistic characters... and the fact that the main character dies and they tell where the people who use the death note go after they die wraps up the sereis, and it dosn't leave any loose ends...

NO IT IS NOT!! IT IS THE FIRST MANGA I FELL IN LOVE WITH!!!!! THEN THE SECOND HALF IS THE WAY I GOT INTO IT!!! The Japanese version is the best!... what is so bad about it?

Dude, it just sucks. There's little to no plot line. It's just *BLEGH!!!!*.

I dose have a plot!!! geez, how much have you tried? Also, if you saw the version on Cartoon Network, that one sucks... the uncut to Japanese version ROCKS!

I've tried at least three times, and that's the most I try. If a anime fails to make me happy in three attempts, it sucks. Plus, the art kind of sucks. CLAMP makes some of the best animes/mangas artwise. Code Geass is the anime by them I've finished and it has the best plot in any other anime to be created. I still need to finish the manga of CG. >.<

I like Viz media for Manga and animation, Bones for animation, and Madhouse for animation. Those are the three that made Death Note, but I am OK with Funimation. I like Code Geass, but am not obsessed with it. Naruto is done by just Viz... which version did you try?

I read all 12 from the public library.
