Romance Readers Reading Challenges discussion

Yz has graciously allowed me to host the new quarterly challenge for the next few months, hope you all will enjoy it! The Categories are based on vacation destinations.

You can pick as many categories as you want, or feel free to add a few of your own favorite vacation spots or activites!

Duration: June 5, 2011 through September 5, 2011

1. Island Hopping: A book set on an island or has and island or water on the cover.

2. Road Trip with the Kids: Read a young adult book or a book that is set in at least two different states.

3. Ski Trip: A book with snow on the cover, set in a ski resort, or has a character that skis.

4. Tourist Trap: Read a book set in a different country than you are from, or has a character that is a tourist.

5. Camping Out: A book set in the forest, has a camping theme, western story, or has cowboys in the storyline.

6. Amusement Park: Read a funny book

7. Vegas Baby!: Go to Random Dice Roller and roll the dice and pick one number from either dice, and read that number book in a series.

8. Cruise Ship: Read a book set on a cruise ship, space ship, pirate ship, or any ole ship!

9. Relaxing Day at Home: Read a book by your favorite author!

10. Romantic Getaway: Read a romance book set in a place you would take your significant other to, or a book with a character you would love to take a romantic getaway with!

Sure, if anyone wants to start theirs as of June 1st I don't think that will be a problem.

Yay! I'm glad to see everyone joining in! I will be out of town all day tomorrow, but will hopefully check back in tomorrow night or Sunday.

I can't resist - I'm in! The categories look like a great mix - some look super easy, and others could be a bit of a challenge. :)

2. Road Trip with the Kids: Read a young adult book or a book that is set in at least two different states. Perfect Chemistry 6/19/2011 This book was GREAT! I enjoyed it so much I had to listen to the audiobook as well, and OMG I'm glad I did. The male narrator has an amazingly sexy Latino voice!

3. Ski Trip: A book with snow on the cover, set in a ski resort, or has a character that skis. How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf June 29, 2011 4 Stars! I Laughed my butt off! Ultimate line: Cooper and his Mighty Morphin Power Penis!


4. Tourist Trap: Read a book set in a different country than you are from, or has a character that is a tourist. Seduce Me in Shadow June 27, 2011 Didn't like this one as much as the first in series. Kept wanting to slap both the main characters.

5. Camping Out: A book set in the forest, has a camping theme, western story, or has cowboys in the storyline. Long Hard Ride July 16, 2011 Beyond all the information about rodeo, the story line was well done and HOT!

6. Amusement Park: Read a funny book Confessions of a Shopaholic July 8, 2011 1 star I hated this book. I could not relate with Rebecca at all. I kept wanting to scream at her idiocy and how she tried to rationalize everything. GRRR

7. Vegas Baby!: Go to Random Dice Roller and roll the dice and pick one number from either dice, and read that number book in a series. Rolled a #2 & 5. Picking the #2 Love Bites June 28, 2011 Didn't like this one as much as the first. Really wanted to like it but couldn't
