Me...Jane has been getting a lot of attention. So lets talk about it's Caldecott like qualities. Is it a strong contender? What do you think?

Kris Me...Jane is a wonderful book. On the surface, so simple, yet the artwork and text work together beautifully on a much deeper level. I don't know much about Jane Goodall, at least not more than your average Joe, but I feel like I have met her after reading this. It's a wonderful picture book biography, inspiring to all ages.

Shannon | 1 comments I just read The Watcher (by Jeanette Winter, author/illustrator of The Librarian of Basra), which was also published this year and is also about Jane Goodall, but it focuses more on her actual work rather than her childhood. Me... Jane is significantly superior.
