now taking nominations for august's theme holidays/travel writing closing date for nominations 11th july

finally put the poll up for august's read, sorry a few days late but house is being rewired so all a bit of a mess at moment but wanted poll up asap :)

luckily not too much mess though , next stage is the windows a week on monday :) all my books are all boxed up in 10 boxes lol

I've got well over 100 TBRs. I'm working to reduce them, but it'll take a while.

Last time I looked I had around 650...sigh!

well went a bit mad last week and bought 15 books , 3 in hay-on-wye , 3 from a charity shop, 6 form the works and 3 from waterstones and already read one of them already and onto another as all my other books are still boxed up as doing the decorating

I am still staying strong, but the weekend is coming fast - that's going to be my real test. At least I can get Round Ireland With a Fridge from the library so that won't tempt me.
nearly read 2 of them already lol and swapped 4 books this week lol BTW lastest alexander seaton book 3 out soon

Mine is on it's way - can't wait!!!

I haven't got around to the first one yet! I'd better get a move on with that one.

Our library system also does not have Round Ireland with a Fridge. It sounds so funny but I will probably have to go interlibrary loan which can take awhile.

You are probably right but they do have a few very old Norah Lofts books which are hard to get now. I guess it depends on demand.

I'm still hoping "my" copy of Round Ireland With a Fridge will turn up soon. One of the librarians at my branch is on the case.
