I actually loved it. It was such an enjoyable book. Sure, it wasn't really complex, but it was fun! Once I started, I needed to keep reading till I finished it. I can't wait for the next ones!
I wasn't to thrilled of the book. I mean it wasn't so bad that I had to stop, but it wasn't that good either. It just was really cheesy and boring. Bad writing too. At one point John was describing how beautiful Sarah's mom's skirt was. Yeah it was pretty bad.
It was just okay to me. Apparently there's going to be a second one, and hopefully the author's writing style evolves as well as the character of John. Also, Sarah probably isn't going to be in it, so it might actually be better than the first one. That way I don't have to sit through another irritating scene between John and Sarah.Henri ((view spoiler)), Sam, Number Six, and Bernie Kosar were the only characters I actually liked. John was (very rarely) interesting at times, but most of the time he was really dull and had zero common sense. (view spoiler)
I did like the idea of this story though, and at times it was definitely exciting (mainly at the end). The whole Lorien planet and their Legacies was interesting, but it wasn't delivered well at all. Sometimes I felt myself wishing the Mogadorians would come along and kill almost all the characters (mainly John and Sarah to end their nauseating relationship) just to end my torture.

I'm in the process of reading it, so comment about the book if you've read it or are currently reading it.
Do you love it? Hate it? Is it just mediocre?
