I couldn't agree more: Pnin is a wonderful novel by Nabokov who also wrote other funny novels. My favorite (next, maybe, to Lolita) is Pale Fire, which takes the form of a PhD dissertation or an exegesis of a poem, but really tells the tale of a half-mad literary scholar!
