Hi, I want to write a book about a vampire and was wondering if anyone knows some good names for vampires? Please choose names that haven't already been done, like Lestat, Louis, and Edward. Something new ones please. Thanks!!! :D

Use exotic sounding names, or use old time ones like Andrew.

What should the name of the vampire that turns the main character be? Kenneth, Kevin, Andrew, Redmond, or Zane(Xane)? Which do you think?
hey dylan i think andrew. its not too obvious like "HEY LOOK AT ME I HAVE A COOL NAME I AM A VAMPIRE!!!!!!"you know? and andrew is sexy yet modest name!
you know, maybe his name could be Lassiter, but he just calls himself Andrew, as not to draw attention to himself.

This is really wierd because my best friend's name is Andrew, so thinking of him as a "sexy yet modest" vampire is really kind of disturbing. But awesome at the same time...Anyways, I always use a site like Brigid or I use a random name generator, if I'm really having problems.

Cool, thanks everyone. Here's the plot: A teenager, with a drunk mom and a dad that gets beaten constantly, wants out of his terrible life. That's when a vampire comes to him and gives him the dark gift. He learns that being a vampire is much worse than his old life, and regrets the gift. So do you like the plot? I think it's pretty origional right? What are your opinions and suggestions? :D

Ok I have a question. Is the vampire that comes to him old or young...has he been a vampire a long time. It might be a good idea, say the vampire is a century old, to find out what names where popular during that era where he was from. Mostly it has to feel right. If you write about your vampire...say you name him Zandros, well after a few scenes does it still work? I always make sure the names suit my characters personalities. Anyway good luck!
Yah--i agree with Natasha--I myself am writing a vampire book and one character's name is Nella, which is a nickname 4 names with Nella, or Nell in them--she's from the 1920's and after I did some research I learned it could be a nickname for Cornelia, which is what her first name will be!

I think he's pretty amazingly hot in the movie.... way hotter than RP anyway. I love Edward, but RP is so NOT edward.

He looked like he was sweating profusely. And it looked gross to me.
But neither book edward nor movie edward is that hot to me... probably because I can't picture book edward. He's just one of those characters that I can't get an image of. And RP just isn't hot.
I think Jasper is cute...Even though throughout the movie he looks like he sees an alien eating someone from the inside out...or maybe he's constipated...
