Cary hung the phone up after Joe called. He then dialed Julie's number, and waited for her to pick up.
"Yullo." Julie said. Hearing Julie's voice made his heart flutter.
"Julie? Hey, it's Cary."
"Oh, hey!"
"We're heading down to the train station, soon, and I told Joe we'd meet him and the rest of the guys at the crosswalk. I'll pick you up now."
"Okay, sounds good to me. See you then!"
"Bye!"
"Bye!" Cary heard Julie say, and hung up. He grabbed his bag of fireworks and made his way to Julie's house.

Cary came home, and walked in. "Where've you been?" His sister peskily asked.
"Out." He responded, and marched off to his room. He was pretty angry at Julie.
