Cary and Julie came to the theater. The walked up to the counter and asked for two tickets to Alien. Nothing says best date ever like a sci-fi horror movie. It was fairly uncharacteristic for Julie to get scared, but she pretended, and apparently did pretty well, because Cary did that cheesy yawning-and-putting-his-arm-around-her-shoulder thing. Their hands met in the popcorn, which made things even cornier (no pun intended), but sort of made things more romantic. Then an alien, very graphically, planted it's egg in some guy's throat and that ruined the moment.

Cary and Julie walked out of the theater. "Do you want me to walk you home?" Cary offered.
"Yeah, sounds awesome," Julie said, smiling. She reached for his hand and they began walking, laughing, and talking.
