Congratulations everyone, you are all spammers. I would personally like to give a shout out to the top 3 spammers:

1st. Selena with an amazing 4800 posts
2nd. Savita with an outstanding 3595 posts
3rd. Hailey with a massive count of 3090 posts

If there is one thing i hate more than the actual spam from a can, it is spammers like said people. A beautiful example of SPAMMING is the topic i started here, which is the topic "What is the General Age Group?"

The topic that i started was to have everyone say their age and stay on that topic because that is what is was made for. Now i find it hard to believe that 809 comments have been said on that topic, when there are only 166 members.

Sadly the actual number of people that answered the question "what is your age" was around 18 people. Which would leave 793 posts OF PURE SPAM!


You guys need to clean this place up! because there are about 10 active users on this place and they post over and over, spamming which would shoo away other people that get annoyed from stupid talk that you guys feel obligated to have on topics that have nothing to do with your discussion.

Please stop spamming or i will leave the group. And i probably won't be the only one over time.

Dude, you have 90 comments and you feel entitled to tell us how to run this group? At any point in time we can get back on conversation, but no one seems like they really want to.

And? We like to post. We don't spam. Because spamming is, technically, to post the same message on one or many different sites.

Which we are not doing, are we? i think that, if anything, the most annoying people in this group are the new people who act like know-it-alls. And I personally wouldn't care if you left this group. You aren't very active anyways. Oh, the irony.

Also, which group only posts on topic? A boring one. AND DON'T BE CALLING ME A SPAMMER YOU !@#$%^&*. lol.

I'd also like to point out that NONE of the groups I'm in stay on topic. It's how the world works.

I agree with John on this one, actually. (Minus the rude-ness, of course.) If all we do in this group is talk about random things, it should be renamed... well, "Random Things." The reason I've been MIA for a while now is because I had dismissed this group as just chatting, and I didn't have time for chatting with school and all. I haven't read the 39 Clues books for a while now, but it would be frustrating to people who have to scroll through hundreds of pages of off-topic posts to find the on-topic posts and respond. Discussing the books is the purpose of this group, am I right?

I also don't think that the majority of the active members can/want to do anything to stop it, so oh well.

Most new members to groups don't read through threads though--the read the first few posts and then post their opinions, therefore bringing us back on track.

Some people may want to read all the way through the topics to find more posts about the topic (especially when, as John noted, there are only about 18 posts on the actual subject), and that's rather hard to do when they're interspersed among hundreds of pages.

Yeah, you have a point. thank you for saying it nicely. :) I suppose we could say things MORe on topic, but it gets rather hard, and I know from other groups that, if we only post on topic, soon the group will be dead.

I know, that's why I'm not saying that y'all should delete all the spam and only talk about the subject of the topic from now on. I'm just saying that John has a point. :)

See, I'm like, ADD and OCd, I think, maybe, so that's the weirdness of my mind. but every time somebody says or types winning, i have his voice in my head.

Heh. My friend's taking Drivers Ed every night for the next week and she says it's super boring... so I told her to imagine the teacher as Mrs. Puff and the girl sitting beside her as Spongebob. I also told her that she would probably crash while trying to race a car on the highway anyway, so she should just give up driving and roller-skate everywhere.

That last part was mostly because of jealousy, I admit.

But then she told me when I start driving I'll just randomly start laughing about something that happened a month ago and then crash. Which is totally true.

^ OH MY GOSH, GUYS. We're already getting off-topic on a topic about staying on-topic. ._.

And that's pretty much it, Selena. John-John, the spam in this group makes it a lot more interesting, but if it bothers you that much than you are free to leave. It's comforting to know that we can get back on topic whenever we want, right? The group hasn't gone completely insane... yet.

I agree with John; I have also been considering leaving (unofficially). There's a Septimus Heap group that I'm a mod in but I've pretty much left except when there's a new topic posted, which I read until it all goes to spam.
Though I can see how there's not a lot left about 39 Clues to talk about until the next book.
Overall this has been an issue that has caused me some concern but I don't see a viable solution.

Agreed, Diana. Perhaps we could narrow the conversations down to only a few topics? Or create a topic only for spamming? (We all know how long that lasts...)

Rick Riordan doesn't have any say in those Camp Half-Bloods that are being run. And yeah, Swifty is SO lucky to have gone!! I've never been; that picture is of me in my CHB shirt I ordered off the internet from some design-your-own T-shirt company (Zazzle.com, I think). And I made my own "bronze knife" out of household materials. :)

The picture still looks badass. :D

It's more for the littluns, but I was about the right age when I went. I could be a camp counselor now, I guess. I heard somewhere they're expanding to a larger area for the camp, which is awesome! And in the year I went, Rick Riordan was supposed to meet one of the sessions, but it wasn't ours. :( Oh well. I met him at The Last Olympian book signing anyways.
