Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry discussion

((This is pretty much everywhere in the school that is not a common room, the owlery, the courtyard, the pitch, or some other place that has a topic to itself. Keep in mind that this is pretty much most of the school, so two characters most likely won't bump into each other.))

Matt walked out of the Slytherin area and started walking to the infirmary. He heard talking at the Broom Closet and stopped.

Greg was wandering around, pretty upset. That jerk "Matt" that Julie is going out with is always picking on him. Wait till I become a [insert something like a "Death Eater" for their generation here].

Julie wandered down the corridors; she couldn't find him anywhere. She was worried that she was upset about Matt.

Greg passed the broom closet, and smiled at the memories.

Julie kept walking down the corridors, stopping at a fork in the hallway. She paused for a moment, wondering which corridor Greg would be closest to... She decided to turn right.

Matt walked around, from the Hufflepuff common room to the Great Hall. He thought about who S.A. could be. Matt gnawed on his toostie pop.

((I love how I comepletely skipped over the corridors. XD))

Matt walked out of the Great Hall, and turned around to wait for Asa.

Asa walked up. "That was pretty close. I'm surprised you could do that, considering you're a Hufflepuff, but who am I to talk about house stereotypes?"

Matt nodded. "True. I mean, no one would've thought a Slytherin & Hufflepuff would be together. We must be the only S/H couple in school!"

"Knowing someof the people that come from my house? You have got to be right." Asa said. Nearly everyone in her house was considered 'evil.' Just because one's evil doesn't qualify them as the perfect Slytherin...

Matt blinked. "What do you know about the Slytherin 'Greg'. I saw him in my common room the other day. I thought he was lost. It was weird." Matt laughed.

"Greg?..." Asa looked puzzled but then remembered who he was. "I dunno. I've never really talked to him before."

Matt frowned. "Okay. Are you sure he is an actual Slytherin, though? He seems somewhat nice. . . . He MUST be better than my adopted brother, though. You musta met Travis, right?"

"Yeah. We were talking in the common room a few hours ago." Asa said. "And I'm pretty sure he is... not many have entered the common room in the past 700 years, and so he wouldn't be in there much if that were the case..."

Matt frowned. "Ugh, I hate my brother. Why, out of all families did mine have to adopt him?!"

Greg walked away from the broom closet, towards the Great Hall. He had to check ahead to see if anyone was in there, so no one would see him and Julie together.

"I'm sure he's not that bad..." Asa said, placing her hand gently on Matt's shoulder.

Julie followed behind Greg at a distance, so in case anyone saw them together, it would remain a secret.

Greg entered the Great Hall. (I don't believe anyone is in here. . .)

Matt laughed. "Next summer he can go home with you!''

Asa smiled. "I don't think my family would be rather fond of a mean Slytherin in the house."

Julie entered a moment later.

Matt laughed. "Okay, if I remember correctly, the secret passage way is. . . . here!"

Asa looked around as she stopped. "Where?" She didn't see anything passage-like.

Matt looked around and made sure no one was looking. He tapped on the statue of the one-eyed witch (3rd floor corridor) and said, "Dissendium." It lead to the cellar of Honeydukes. "Go in," Matt grinned.

"Ok..." Asa said, stepping in. Normally, had it been someone else, she wouldn't have. But... she trusted Matt. If he hadn't shooed her away yet for being a Slytherin, he must have been a pretty cool guy.

Matt followed Asa into the passageway. "It was supposed to be hidden like this, so the caretake wouldn't know. Rumor had it he was a nasty old person."

"I heard from my Nan that he was a squib, that's why he was so bitter, apparently..." Asa said, following the dark pathway.

((Oh. We need Honeydukes. . . . HOLD ON!))

Matt nodded. "Almost there!"
