Let us speculate... Today J.K. Rowling announced her latest project: Pottermore! But that is all we know! What do you guys think??? What is JKR doing now? And what is this project whose name is SO EXCITING to everyone who loves Harry Potter?

I don't think it is that encyclopedia, because we knew that was coming. This seems like it's something brand new. (Of course, given the information on the website, that's just a feeling I get, but still)

Me too. Except for the fact that it will be two in the morning here. I think more like 6 days and 11 hours.

For me it doesn't matter if I get up early or not, I'll be at camp. If only I had an ipod Touch, then I would be able to tap into the college's wi-fi and see it...Hmm....other people'll have things so I'll be able to watch it somehow most likely.

Either you're amazing or my brain has been fried by finals. No offense to you, but I think it's the latter. Which is a problem since I still have two left and one of them is math.

I leave for camp next Sunday so I'll be home. But I won't be home when the movie comes out. Although I come home a day later, so it's not the end of the world. My sister will just have to see it two days in a row. (She's going to the midnight showing but I made her promise to see it with me when I got home)

So I know this will NEVER happen, but wouldn't it be awesome if she opened a Hogwarts? Like you got letters and learned magic and everything? If only, if only. Or maybe she's going to tell us that Harry Potter is not fiction, and they came to her with the story and she made it. That'd be sooo cool.

Yeah, well, I'll just assume you're TRUE answer is the I'm amazing, Kate. :) Even though i know how finals are.

I'll also be gone when the movie comes out but my two best friends and i are going on the Monday right after- two of us will be gone and I REALLY won't feel like sitting in a theatre for 2 hours or so and watching a movie (even Harry) after sitting on a charter bus on the way back home from Purdue (for Youth 2011).

I only have an hour and a half car ride home, which is better than the three and a half it's been. And way better than the six hour car drive I'll be taking to Vermont two days later. So I plan to go on Saturday after I get home.

I get to go to the midnight premiere. My sister went to the last one and I told her if she didn't take me this time that I would kill her. I was so mad last time! And it's in 3D which makes it even more awesome.

I think I would have died if I saw the last one in 3D. Nagini kept jumping out at you, which was bad enough on a regular screen.

I jumped so high when that happened! Oh my gosh! lolz. But there really weren't a lot of scenes that would be good in 3D in part 1.....

My sister pointed out that pretty much all that's left is breaking into Gringotts and Hogwarts. Which is awesome because anything that happens at Hogwarts is amazing and the Battle at Hogwarts is super amazing.

I don't like 3-D...

HP would be super scary in it, tho.

I only like 3D if there's a lot of chances that something will pop out at you. I think that HP7P2 in 3D is going to be really cool since there's going to be a lot of spells flying.

I saw Up in 3D... Complete waste of money. The trailers were more 3D than the movie itself.

I saw it in 3D too. I think the idea was that it was just more solid-seeming.

I saw Avatar in Real-D 3D. It didn't really feel 3D, just more colourful.

Yeah, Up was Real-D 3D too, and it was like that. Most things are right now.

My brother and sister's friends' dad saw Avatar in 3D and couldn't figure out why it was special...then he discovered that he was actually not watching it in 3D. He just had the glasses.

One of the leaders at my summer camp LOVES Harry Potter, she even has a Harry Potter license plate, and she's going to the IMAX midnight showing of Deathly Hallows Part 2.

That's...excessive? And pretty awesome.

OK, so I thought it was at 3 tonight, but it says one more day, so I have NO idea when it's coming out.

Is everyone going to actually get up at three in the morning to find out then or just wait and find out in the morning? It will be 9pm here when it is announced.

Not a chance Mandie. No matter how awesome it is it can wait a few hours. I think it's 6 AM for me, so it won't be that much later when I actually wake up. Now that school finally finished though, I'm not waking up any earlier than happens naturally. (Which will probably be 7:30, but oh well)

I'll probably end up staying awake to watch it, I've been staying up that late most nights anyways.

I'm having a sleepover tonight, so I'll be awake and just see what it is. Now do we go on Pottermore itself, or the YouTube video?
