Hey, I was just wondering if it would make sense to put stories in different genre folders or something. That way, they wouldn't be all jumbled up and things would be easier to organize...Just a suggestion. :)

That's how I do it in my group but IDK? I think it would work but it would take a lot of effort. I vote for it though.

Western is like cowboys and Kit carson. I don't know if anybody does that but I'd like to have it.

I could. Do you think so? I thought if it was YA then it would have a sub-category. So IDK? Like if its for teens then it would have another theme as well. Like an action adventure YA story. What do you think?

Does that work because all of the other genres could fall under YA also. Like YA romance, horror, fantasy...etc. Are there any writers here who are not YA because that would simplify things...

yha it would. But if by some chance an adult came in we'd want our (haha) genres generic.

I feel as if the majority of the stories posted on here are going to be YA though...

Yha. And that's okay. But the folders of genre are going to be mainly for sorting. So it woudn't really matter (in my opinion).

So we should just assume that our genres are YA and keep a folder for Adult pieces only. There probably wouldn't be enough writings for it to become too hectic.

We could put just YA Romance, YA Biography, etc., as genres...and then if an adult came along, it just be like A Romance, A Biography...yeah.
