Well I am SndCastie aka Sandra Castle who met Dee-Marie at my favorite site Renderosity. She took me under her wing and I joined the Magazine at that time. Since then I have been a Coord,Mod, and Admin for the site. Due to health reasons I stepped down and am now unemployed and on Disablilty. But it was a fun ride while it lasted. I met not only Dee-Marie there I met Clint and Lillian who I have been friends with for wow years how time flies. I do Computer art for my hobbie and love anything doing with fantasy,Midevil,Dragons, and such. I can't wait to get the book to read. Friends forever !!
Hi Sandy,
Welcome to the gruop. Your book is in the mail. I know you will enjoy the read.
Great to have you a part of this group.

Hi Dee-Marie! Hi Sandy! Hi everybody!Guess, I'll go next...
I'm Lillian Hawkins [AKA LilyHawk:]. I am the former Renderosity Marketing Manager known as LillianH. This was where I met Dee-Marie, Sandy, Paula and Nick! We had an incredible team of very talented people.
I'm so thankful for the R'Osity experience because I learned a lot, was surrounded with fantastic art every day and made such wonderful friends who are so dear to my heart.
I have since moved on to more positive pastures and am now the Mistress of Creative Mischief at GothicBlend.com and have my own management business.
I like to read a lot!! When I get a moment, I'll go through my library and post get them posted. My tastes are quite varied, but commonly center around self-improvement, self awareness, spiritual growth, healing, health, majik, mysteries and the unexplained.
Thanks for starting the group Dee-Marie. I remain one of your biggest fans!
Hey Lillian,
I am so happy to have you as part of the group, and as always thanks so much for your continued support and friendship.
Now...as to the group's creation...I can only take credit for the writing of the "Sons of Avalon," it was Gyda who so thoughtfully created this group as our playground.
Not only is Gyda a lover of books (she has over a thousand books in her personal library), she is also the most loyal of readers, the sweetest of fans, and the most brutal of prodders. You thought you were relentless in asking when the book was ever going to be finished...she called and pestered me everyday!
Bottom line...I love you all so much...after all...the readers make writer's dreams come true...and friendships made through shared books last forever.
Huge hugs,
Dee Marie

Hi Dee and the rest of you.I'm Paul and I write mostly SF and horror, some action thriller stuff chucked in for good measure. Film scripts and short stories mainly. Have a few short stories up on Goodreads; the first 10% of a science-fiction novel; publish (at irregular intervals) a magazine of SF and horror called Dark Side of the Sun (currently revising and re-editing the first 3 volumes so I'll post a link when they're done.
Dee very kindly sent me a signed copy of her book Merlin's Prophecy and I'm honoured to say we're going to do some work on the book trailer together.
Hiya just call me Jane!!! Mwahaha I'm not telling my real name because I don't really like it.Anyway... I'm kind of obsessed with Arturian stuff so I had to join when I found this group. I'm a book devorer... I think I spelled that wrong, anyway, I just watched Merlin a few days ago, and it was awesome!!!
So, yeah....
Hey Paul,
Welcome to the land of Merlin. I am very excited about working with you on the book trailer. Especially after reading your stories and scripts.
Funny how the universe bring people together when they need them the most,
I am very glad that you enjoyed SOA, and can hardly wait to read your script.

Hi Jane
Welcome to the SOA group. I fully understand about being obsessed with all things Arthurian. I too have been passionate about Merlin and King Arthur from my life’s first breath…when I was whisked away to live within hallowed walls of Avalon.
Truly, my first years were spent living atop a queen’s hill in the Avalon apartments. So, from birth, the imprinting took place.
Merlin is my muse. I am merely is scribe, his Nimue…gentle smile.
Thank you so much for joining our group, we look forward to your input, and Arthurian insight.

You should write poetry too Dee!!!Welcome to the SOA group Jane and Paul! I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to join this group. Dee's book is awesome!
That is very kind of you, Jade.
Of course, like all authors, I have dabbled in writing poetry.
As I am sure even Paul and Michael have.
Do you have any of your poetry posted online, Jade?

Thanks, but sometimes, I do stink at stuff! :)The only poem I know is
Roses are red........
seriously, I really can't write poems
I don't know if I have dabbled at poetry...it doesn't have to rhyme, is that right?Unless you class Haiku as poetry.
Wet lino
reflects images
of evening's brief beery friendships...
I personally love to rhyme in my poetry...comes from years of writing songs. However...at the moment...rhyming is out...so you will fit right in Paul.
Plus, you have a beautiful way with words. Your stories are poetic, even the creepy ones :)
Nice Haiku

Way back in my mother's family lineage, I am a descendant of Iolo Goch (Iolo the Red), who was chief lieutenant and court bard to Owain Glyndwr, the feudal lord of Powys and self-styled prince of Wales.Hence the poetic bit perhaps.
Plus, as the legend has it, anyone who spends a night alone on the summit of Cader Idris becomes either mad or a bard.Having spent several nights up there, I might be suffering from both...
Woo, Whoo, I am so excited...I Gots 9 Fans hehe

Welcome, Libby!! It's good to have you here.
Last I heard, the next installment of Sons of Avalon will be out this summer. I'm sure when Dee stops by she will have a better answer :)
Thanks for the update! I hate when I start a series and then I have to wait for the next installment - I know its childish but I just can't wait to know what happens :-)

When I last asked her, she said this summer, so I guess Um was right! I can't wait!!!!!
Hey Libby,
I am with you...I hate starting a series and having to wait forever for the next book :]
I am shooting to get the second book in the SOA saga, out by the end of this summer. Working on it right now, so if I am out of the loop for a bit, that is why :]
Thanks everyone for your interest in SOA. It is greatly appreciated, far more than you can ever know :]

Although most everyone knows everyone else, can you please introduce yourself, just in case we get some new members to the group?
Thank you all so much for your continued support of the "Sons of Avalon" series. Without your gentle nagging...I mean persistence pestering...the novel would still be shoved away in a corner of my computer.
Huge hugs to everyone!
Dee Marie
