Wendy | 87 comments Our upcoming Whitney fiction read will be Traitor, by Sandra Grey. It is the first book in a very popular LDS trilogy. Feel free to post comments, questions, etc. Happy reading!

Cindy (cmbohn) | 40 comments I've heard good things about this book, but I'm not sure if I'll be reading along this time. I'm sort of stuck at home right now, so I'm reading what I've got on hand for a while. But I may check it out later! I seem to be a bit behind with the group reads. But I'm always glad to hear what you all think.

Jennie | 20 comments Not only is this story fascinating, but Gray shows some of the most polished, talented writing currently in the LDS market. It can hold its own anywhere. When I starteds this series, I was reluctant to delve into it because of the war theme and I'd read enough war stories to last me for awhile, but as I got into it I found originality and a different persepective that pulled me in and kept reading through all three volumes.

I listened to this book on tape a few years ago and was intrigued, but the second book was not available at the library as an audio book, and I didn't have time to read the paper version. This may be a good chance for me to re-read the first one and then continue on with the trilogy.

Nikki Repass (nikki224) | 5 comments I don't really read romance books at all. Hopefully next book to review is something that works better for me.

message 7: by Jennie (new)

Jennie | 20 comments Nikki, this series is not romance. It is historical. Like most novels it has some romance, but the romance is far from the main theme of any of the three volumes.
