Okie, let me know how you like The Passage. I heard great things about it and actually got it from the library, but it got smacked down by the TBR and I had to return it before I read it.This week I have ARCs of Flawless by Carrie Lofty and Mistress by Marriage by Maggie Robinson. The ARCs came my way through serendipity, and yay!--I've really been looking forward to them both.
Oooh, Theresa! You have to tell us how the Carrie Lofty and Maggie Robinson books turn out. Both sound wonderful!
I'm sort of floundering to find something to read. It's not that I don't have a ton in the TBR. I just am having a hard time deciding what to read next. Might be time for a palate cleanser.

Its really good so far, Theresa! It was a slow start but next thing you know I'm at the half way point :)) I'll let you what I think when I'm done.
I have yet to find time to even crack open Catching Fire. I've been working longer hours and working out after work and after that I'm just pooped!! I hope to read it soon!
I just finished Laurel McKee's third Irish historical, Lady of Seduction. Wow, she redeemed the villain of her last book very well. Fun banter between them, with no consistent winner to keep the reader guessing.
I'm reading Pamela Morsi's Runabout, on my nook. Very badly formatted, and I can't tell if its a new or rerelease, although I'm guessing the latter. But its fun in a fluffy way.
The Passage was a Fabulous read, Theresa. I gave it a five star rating, I Loved It! There are talks of it being movie bound. *squeeeeee! I can't wait for book 2 in the series, unfortunately we have a long wait- 2012 o.o
I'm sooo behind on my word count but I have to start reading Illusions by Aprilynne Pike or I'll have to return it back to the lib. Gah! So many books, so little time.
Just finished THE SECRET MISTRESS by Mary Balogh and HEARTBREAK CREEK by Kaki Warner. I really enjoyed both books. The Heartbreak Creek series looks very good and can't wait to read the rest. Alas, the next one isn't out until January, 2012.I just downloaded a 99 cent book for my Nook from Julia London, MATERIAL GIRL. She is re-releasing the Lear Sister Trilogy in ebook format and the first one is just 99 cents to get you hooked. I figured I'd try it. Otherwise, I'm like you Manda, I'm at a loss!
Okie, thanks for letting me know about The Passage! Sounds like I will need to get it again and Actually Read It this time. :)Manda, the Lofty and Robinson books are both fantastic! I'm making them take turns, so I haven't finished either, but getting close. Carrie Lofty's is mainly set in South Africa, and the setting is such a wonderful part of the story. As for Maggie Robinson--funny, hot, poignant as always. Oddly enough, both books feature characters with the surname Christie.
I just finished Emma Wildes' One Whisper Away One Whisper Away, which was excellent! All the raving online was spot-on. It had a most unusual meeting between the h/h for any regency: in a ballroom, she spills her champagne on herself and he wipes it up, while whispering a proposition in her 18-year-old ear (naughty man).
I just tried a new to me author that Sherry Thomas blogged about: Bettie sharpe. Read her novella Ember, a Cinderella retelling, and was blown away. Going to read her book Cat next.
