only the awesomest book club ever discussion

Thanks for picking genres everyone! Here is how the next round will work. There are 7 ppl in the club, so we will have 7 genres represented. Out of the twelve genres nominated, here are the seven that 'won'.

1. young adult
2. nonfiction
3. sci-fi/fantasy
4. classics
5. mystery
6. contemporary fiction
7. thriller/drama

Once you've read all the 2011 books, please post here with your selection for each of the above 7 categories (please put them in order, guys, and make this easy!) If you don't know what category a book fits into, just ask!

Then, when everyone has nominated their seven titles, I will put up polls! Please vote, it is your right as an American, and more importantly, an awesome book club member! The only rule is that you can't vote for your own selections--that way it's more fair and everyone doesn't just vote for their own pick. Also, please don't choose a book you've already read UNLESS you are willing to read it again.
You will vote in all 7 polls, one for each genre. The winner in each category is the book we will read!
Sounds complicated, but it's really not. Just 1. read all the 2011 books. 2. nominate a book you want to read in each of the 7 categories. 3. wait for an email inviting you to vote in the polls. AND 4. vote.

I also don't see Liz's. And do you have to go look up everyone's books?? Not all of them have links in the picks posts.... If you click on the poll does it have links to each of them?

No, it doesnt have links in the polls. My picks might be hidden for you, just hit the thing that says "3 topics of 5" or whatever and it should have mine and liz's.
