The game portal takes place in an aperture science testing facility, and your guided through 19 levels by a homicidal robot (GLaDoS). You end up escaping GLaDoS before she kills you, and then you go and find her and destroy her. But you didn't really kill her because she has multiple back up systems or something like that. And the cake is a lie.

. . .ok. . .that sounds really complicated, but I'm willing to try it.

Lol in the game the computer says you will get cake at the end of all the tests. The cake actually isn't a lie, but you getting the cake is! I'll make my charrie first. Make sure you give your person a tool that they were testing or making.

Lol ok. Yeah real lasers are constant and go forever unless stopped, but this is fake so.

George ducked behind a wall right before the turret drones spotted him. He pressed a button on his arm and did a flip, then was pulled feet first onto the ceiling. He walked on the ceiling of the large storage room to the catwalk. Right before he deactivated his boots, he saw someone through a window on the other side of the room. He wondered who it could be. 'Could it be my old friend companion cube' he wondered.

Selena went around the plain, white, cold lab from machine to machine, computer to computer, reading different readings from the first test of her new laser gun.

(( Oh I forgot to mention this, but GLaDoS filled the lab with a "deadly neurotoxin" and killed pretty much everyone.))

George wasn't sure what to do. It definitely wasn't companion cube, but it also couldn't be a human. All humans had died when GLaDoS filled the enrichment center with a deadly gas. He ran towards the window.

Selena was playing with her newly designed laser gun, trying to figure out what was wrong with it, and wishing that the labs weren't destroyed.

she stared at the man through the window with equal curiosity. she could practically hear his thoughts, everyone did a double take when they saw her here, she looked like a human, but they had modified her mother and so when she was born she was human only on the outside, thats why they kept her here as an assistant so they could monitor her. she walked up to the window, smiled and waved

It was a human! George hadn't seen a human in years! He ran straight towards the window, jumped onto it, and kicked down shatering the glass. He turned off his boots once he hit the wall. "Who are you" he asked.

((OK. Everyone in the labs or enrichment center, is either dead insane or trying to escape. In the game you play as someone who they put in cryo sleep or whatever until it was time to test her. She is the only sane person in that entire game. Did you read the comic?))

((In the comic the guy was a scientist gone insane. He took his pills and then saved the girl. Plain and simple. GLaDoS is still alive, and is still trying to kill the remaining people, whether they are sscientists, test subjects, assistants or what doesn't matter, she wants em dead. She used to wanna study the humans before killing them...Now she just wants to kill them. Help any?))
