I'll have to get a copy from the library - it'll be later in the month of August before I start.
I don't think I'm going to get to this one this month, damn,i have been wanting to read it for a while now,i think I'll try and read it next month.
I know it's past August now but it looks like nobody read this book; I am planning on reading it in October - does anyone want to join me in a discussion then? :)
It will probably be the October Group Read since nobody actually read Suffer The Children in August. I'm willing to give it another try. I just haven't been good at finishing books lately, but this one I don't think I even got from the library last time - I'll get it from the library during the next two weeks and that'll be a good start.
Just put my request in at the library. Looking foward to discussing it with everyone. It's been awhile since I participated in a group read.
Yay! I have my copy at home now. I first read this as a young teen back in the mid 80's and have no memory of the plot at all so I'm really looking forward to re-reading it with you all :)
I have the copy from the library. It is in my apartment. I can see it right now. I am taking steps toward opening the book and actually reading this time :-)

Hi,
We are getting closer to the release date of the first installment of Blackstone Chronicles in graphic novel form. The first issue is Eye for an Eye: The Doll, which will be available in November and is being published by Bluewater Productions. The next five installments are being released over the next five months.
For those of you who read Suffer the Children, Blackstone Chronicles: Eye for an Eye: The Doll has some familiar characters from Port Arbello. Also, Bluewater has updated Blackstone for the new millennium. Some of the characters actually use cell phones!
I have a mockup of the cover which you can see at: http://www.johnsaul.com/Blackstone_Co...
Also, dont forget to check out my page on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/John-Sa...
Ill be in touch in a couple of weeks.
All best,
John Saul

I just finished this book today and really liked it.The characters and the setting were both spot on for me(nice and creepy),It also had a few twists and turns towards the end that surprised me.I gave this book 4 stars and is easily the best book i have read by John so far.I highly recommend this book for anyone still to read it.

Maybe you should nominate it for our next group read! :)
I think that I read it some 6 months ago, but it is a good one. Wouldn't mind rereading it.

I have still not read this one - I have heard so much good about it, but I am a very slow reader without the help of an audiobook and this this title is not currently available as an unabridged audiobook :-(
